the communication was terrible. Everything just felt so unorganised .. and I’ve never had an experience like that with a host. The link for the info pack wouldn’t work and it just felt like every time I contacted them for support it was just stressful.. which it shouldn’t be THAT hard. the responsiveness was poor on countless occasions.. and I can’t emphasize that enough. basically every time I had a question I couldn’t have it answered or there was simply no response. To be given an info sheet less than 24 hours before arrival to be told that keys had to be collected from a collection point by a set time as it shut at a certain time is not fair given we had flights booked which didn’t arrive until late at night. we were very lucky we had friends who lived locally whom had to collect our keys for us otherwise we would have been stranded and there was no other option for us and when questioned around this I wasn’t given another option..this isn’t mentioned in the info when booking and certainly hasn’t taken into consideration an alternative for people who are flying in from interstate whom may be arriving late. the communication from the host was poor and when we were unfortunately locked out of our room accidentally with small children, we were stranded for hours in he corridor of the hotel with no support, no clothes (wearing only PJs),no nappies or food for our baby, no wallet/money, etc. the hotel told us there was nothing they could do and to contact the host. yet the support number isn’t an after hours number so there was no response for far too long. we called/emailed/messaged the hostess continuously for support and had no response for hours. it was particularly stressful and we felt helpless. the check-in wasn’t straight forward, confusing and wasn’t particularly clear- we struggled to find the hotel as it could have been simple yet they never stipulated the hotel name (big chain hotel..

Actually, I don't want to give a single star. It was useless because I had to go to the designated place to get the key, or it was outside the jurisdiction of the hotel reception. There was a cockroach in the room, and I asked him to change the towel and clean the room, but he didn't do it. After not cleaning for 2 weeks, the worst thing was that the high cleaning fee and bond were not refunded. The owner sent many emails urging reviews, but even if he sent an email about Bond's refund, it was ignored and there has been no reply so far. I'm very angry, and I definitely don't want you to feel that way, so I can't recommend this apartment.

When 1st booked said they would take a one night deposit took the whole amount I had only worked one night into my budget. Got down to the hotel around 3p and it was a private room so had to collect key from a off located venue which they stated got there key wasn't there rang the phone number provided several times couldn't get through left a message no return call. Went through booking.com they gave me a number for the actual hotel they couldn't help as it's a private rental so it wasn't there fault. Went back to the shop where the key was supposed to be the lady at the shop kindly let me ring another number on her phone and was told the key was in another place no where near where we were staying we got into our room at 430p an 1hr and a half later what a joke. Not well communicated No cutlery. No appliances besides a kettle but had no coffee cups to have a coffee. The aircon couldn't be adjusted it was stinking hot. The toilet seat wasn't even on properly sent a email about asked if they could come fix it said yes never got a reply.

The location was the only good thing.

Overlooks Cali Beach night club that has music blasting from 11am till early hours of the morning that can be heard through the closed door. No cutlery or cloth. Dirty tea towel shoved in the cupboard. Keys were a pain to drop off and no one to contact for help. Have to pay for parking that is expensive. Two cold spa pools and 2 barley warm with no bubbles and dirty water.

The property was in walking distance to the beach, shops and restaurants.

The property as no amenities (no cutlery, not enough toilet paper, no microwave, 3 cups, no crockery, small fridge, no WIFI, no access to gym). The pools at the hotel can’t even be classified as pools. The beds sink in the middle and the pillows are extremely large (not good to sleep on). The air conditioning system is extremely difficult to use. The room is much smaller than it seems in the photos. There is only one power point near the beds. It was overall INEXORBITANTLY OVERPRICED!!

The check in procedure - had to walk a long way to get the key, with instructions to the wrong location to a sketchy area. The cleanliness - the room was disgusting. There were stains everywhere, linen was not washed, hair still in the bathroom. The location - directly above a nightclub, with extremely thin windows. Unbearably noisy. The staff - unhelpful in all regards The cancellation procedure - unreasonable costs to cancel. Misleading and deceptive advertising. We let the property know we had a one year old baby. It was not suitable at all.

1 light worked in the whole apartment and there was a little lamp there, that’s it. half the power points didn’t work, air con did not work either. reception will not help due to it being a “Air bnb” so no toilet paper is given nor extra towels
