About the door for the balcony, the door doesn’t fit. Everytime i try. It won’t shut

Outside of main Building looked a little tired/old, Balcony in room was disappointing. Very tiny for only one person to stand, we were hoping to have a Balcony to sit outside and enjoy the fresh air with a chair or two. Balcony was also very dirty, floor, walls and hand rails need a clean. Also had an Aircon unit blowing cold air onto balcony! Aircon unit took up 40% of the balcony space. We also booked this Hotel as it was advertised as having a restaurant on site, but were told on check in that the restaurant was closed a year or so ago. We subsequently had lunch and Dinner at other locations in Melbourne.

Staff were awesome, very polite and very helpful. Bar facility and Bar Staff were also awesome. Breakfast was 5 star. The best Bfast we have had in many years at a Hotel. Your hot Bfast was nice and hot, most Hotels serve luke warm/cold food. Your Bfast Chef/Staff and equipment is second to none. My Wife hated the Pillows, they were past their use by date, so I gave her one of mine and she slept with three pillows to equal what she is used to at home. I don't care about Pillows!

Had police arrest someone straight outside my room on the 15th floor at 1:30am in the morning followed by another large group of males outside the same room about two hours later making a large amount of noise. Advised reception but had no follow up or apology. No issue with police doing their job but not impressed how a large group can congregate at 3:30am without follow up from hotel security.

The beds are comfortable, my room was quiet. Buffet breakfast was good variety of foods. Breakfast staff made sure there was always plenty of dishes and no waiting.

Carpet in the bedroom seemed tired compared with the rest of the facilities.

Very comfortable bed & a good buffet breakfast with excellent service from the staff particularly the man who greeted me at the entrance to the breakfast room. Bar meal & service also good in the evening.

There weren't many aspects we didn't like. We were slightly disappointed that the pool and fitness area was closed. Even though there was a sign on the door there was no communication that this space would be closed. However, this wasn't the end of the world as there were other centres around the area that we could go to in the end.

Our group of three loved the location and the view of the street from the window. Even though the extra bed frame was all scratched up the mattress was extremely comfortable. The hotel was quiet however there was a fair amount of noise from the street even though we were on the 5th floor.

The shower pressure was not very good at all and the water in the shower didn’t get very hot despite having the cold water turned right down. Also, we ordered the cheesecake from room service x 2 and it was served with cream on the side but the cream was off. When we complained about how sour the cream was they didn’t offer a refund or apologise.
