its only within easy walk of one cafe. most facilities are 20 minute walk or car ride. The metro/tram will be a big improvement once it comes. You need a car and the big plus is the parking is great on site & secure

The room could use a deep clean behind the beds and the walls to clear some dust

Loved the pools and how the room included beach toys and pool noodles. The kitchen was great, as well as having an ensuite. Beach entrance path was a bonus.

The property wasn’t clean. Couldn’t use the patio as it was filthy. Discussed with management who sent cleaners. They swept but it was still grotty. Lots of dust. I had to wipe dust away from mirrors over my head on our bed. Removed mirrors due to build up of dust.

The slamming car park door keeps you awake as people who kept slamming it shut all night and early morning and pool said it was heated but never heated

There was only one air conditioner in the lounge and so in February the bedrooms were hot to sleep in. Also parties were in the unit above and quite loud. But it was only one night thank goodness.

Nice unit, modern, clean and large. The pool facilities were amazing, walk through to the beach. Close to shops.

Lack of cutlery and plates on arrival but sorted as soon as we asked.

Fantastic location, handy walk to beach and cafe. Unit had everything a family needed for a 8 day stay. Lovely landscape around the resort and pools. Great underground parking and easy access to unit.

The linen was spotless and the beds were made beautifully. The unit had been refurbished recently with modern utilities and white walls and updated taps and toilet seats and accessories. Lovely to use and see. TV in main bedroom a bonus. Aircon was a blessing as the temps were very high during the wet and humid Aust day weekend. Curfew on pool area was adhered to and thank you for that with 9.30 finish and young families accommodated. On the down side : kitchen cutlery was very ordinary - bulky clumsy to use, primative!! I do understand that people spoil things by stealing anything nicer ?? The bed in the main bedroom was gutless and back breaking- I spoke up about it as it certainly has outlived it usefulness.They plan to replace same :)

Apartment itself was a little dated & crockery etc. very average but most seemed to be in the process of being updated. In ours the bathrooms were lovely.

Great location, good value and comfortable apartment. Excellent pools surrounded by trees & foliage with easy access to the beach. Good eateries close by as were supermarkets. Helpful staff.

The apartment was clean apart from the air conditioning unit / vent in the bathroom and curtains. These all need a deep clean, however this place is great value for money.

Their verandahs always have broken glass on them and are never cleaned so found the broom straight away (this has been the case every time we have stayed here). Although there is a cute duck family settled in the heated pool, it meant the heated pool was sludgy so we stuck to the cold pool (you could see and feel the layer of sludge on the top of the water) The pools really are lovely otherwise. The flights of stairs were a pain staying alone with children, I did a billion trips to the car. This has made me pick other similar places to stay in the last few years even though this is one of our favourites. With that aside, we will be back again as always.

Love the close access to the beach. Love the pools. The apartments are in decent condition. Safe parking. We were able to check in slightly early. Generally everyone else staying there was quiet except down at the pool (as expected). There is a Cafe down a few blocks. There is also a take away 2 blocks away at the main road which was handy. Their kiosk is good for emergency supplies also. The kids favourite thing is the pool which they were in every single day.

The games room and pool table etc are starting to show their age and could be renewed.

We have stayed at the Grande Florida a few times and we really love the pool and gardens as well as the location. It's close to beaches, shops, restaurants and cafes.
