How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The general appearance of the facility and gardens appeared run down and needing a little TLC. There was also no obvious staff and appeared deserted.
Close to town centre, peaceful location.

The air conditioner motor really needs some work. It's really noisy - sounded like we had a truck parked outside our unit all night. Also wasn't aware the venue isn't staffed & you have to call someone off site to get your room code.
Really nice gardens, saw some deer running round, nice view out over the mountains when you're outside. Bed is comfy. Not too far to walk to get into the main town which was nice.

Sign to entrance further up the driveway, wee bit tricky to see at night when finding location first time. Water pressure in shower ok.
Host messaged us with clear instructions. Room was clean. Plenty of parking

The reception building was out of date and cold. There was no Netflix in the room as mentioned on your site (booking.com).
The room was new, all renovated. Your site pictures don’t match the room. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The air-conditioning compressor was mounted right across the outside of the kitchenette window so You couldn't open it for the noise. Like so the water storage heat tank/pump was outside the bathroom window. Really stupid of the installers because there was plenty of space on the rear walls beside the windows to mount them. Also there was a big group of guests having a party which started in the car park and moved to the bbq in from of our rooms. At after midnight, and no sleep, I had to text the manager to ask her to ask them to shut up which she did.
Gardens around the units were quite nice. The room was spacious and seemed newly renovated with newish wooden floors, furniture and paint. Staff were helpful too.

Beds were not good, shakes a lot disturbing the sleep.
Friendly owners, spacious resort with garden. Sufficient parking. Views of mountains from the garden. Very quiet.

The grounds and buildings are in need of maintenance, which it appears to have commenced, but still has a way to go.
Neat and tidy refurbished room. Beautiful setting, big trees, plenty of space, once a perfect resort. Quiet, peaceful, and relaxing.

Our room had very below ave bathroom that wasn’t shown when I looked up the room online , they gave me a free Wi-Fi address which didn’t work and there was No response back when I asked if there was a problem
The room was clean and had new and had new facilities throughout

When we arrived we had dirty towels in our room, also missing pillow cases. Little or no tea and coffee. The kithchenette available for use was flooded out. And the barbeque which was available for guest use had animal feces all over the plate. All in all very disappointing

I had booked the garden view room which I'm glad we did. It was great to kick the soccer ball with my daughter, and meditation with the natural sounds of nature in the morning. There was ample space in the room for 2/3 people. We stayed when it was 33 degrees, so the aircon worked perfectly.

We booked via booking.com and the description clearly stated separate bedroom and living room. This was not the case. We were staying with our 3 year old so separate sitting / living is useful after he goes to sleep. Anyway, it was cheap and you get what you pay for I guess. The TV remote needed replacing - organised very quickly by caretaker and we needed an extra towel. Also taken care of quickly. The heat lights didn't work in the bathroom but we were only there one night so that was fine.
The location is great, its cheap, the beds are comfortable and the room was clean.

Where do I start! Certainly not a luxury king suite!. Just a standard clean motel room overlooking overgrown unkept gardens. This property needs a complete renovation- must have over 60 unused rooms in a bad state of repair so only a few rooms open at the moment. Very uncomfortable being the only guests on such a large property. Bad advertising saying only 3 rooms available, makes you think it's popular. $185 far too much. It's laughable to think I upgraded to a garden room. A huge disappointment!!
The room was clean and comfortable. The caretaker was helpful, and friendly.

1. External lighting was poor in carpark and in finding room. 2. Noise like running water in ceiling area in both rooms made sleeping difficult throughout the night 3. Only one cup available as the other was cracked and leaked. 4. Bath towels need to be bigger. 5. Not much water pressure to enjoy a good shower.

Great communication from the staff. the room was really lovely and clean and spacious. We didn't have time to look at the surroundings as we arrived late and left early morning, but it did look beautiful. It was very quiet too, I think there was only a couple other guests other than us.
