How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Outdoor space untidy.Be aware there is no sink,apart from bathroom sink for washing up and no washing up facilities-cloth ,tea towel etc. Only seating in room is fold away seats.
Very close to airport and convience shop and takeaway.Comfortable bed,modern bathroom and outdoor space and large TV.

I just found the product that the sheets washed in a bit, strong, smelling not unpleasant. Couple more pillows would’ve been nice and a chair 🪑 bed was a bit high to actually sit on and there was no other choice 🐝
It was clean quiet and easy access 🌺 close to the airport and great facilities

Gayla was a lovely host. She picked me up from the airport for a small fee and dropped me off again in the morning. The bed was so comfy I did not want to wake up! Nice pizza place opposite for a quick dinner.

Great option close to airport. Host was very friendly and made me feel welcome and safe as a female travelling alone. Booked and arrived very late at night which was not an issue. Great bed and shower. Not to mention great price. Highly recommend.

I've stayed at various accommodation options around the airport, both private and hotels. This is by far the best in terms of comfort, cleanliness, value, and safety. The pizza shop and milk bar across the road make it super convenient. Will only stay here from now on.

Need hand towel and face washer, these are important. Air conditioning was on and I couldn't turn it off, so was a bit cold sometimes.
I love this little place, very clean, comfortable, safe, close to airport and the owners are lovely people. Good carparking space. Bed was lovely and comfortable and pillows were comfortable. Good tea making facilities, love the shower, big and spacious. When it was very warm outside, air conditioning was good to have. Wifi is very good. TV worked well and had captioning which was good for me as I am Deaf so that helped a lot :) I would suggest the TV may need to be repaired though as there is a line or a couple of lines across the screen that means picture may need to be fixed in the TV so just letting you know this. Host is very good at communicating clearly and gave instructions just before I arrived, so I knew where to go to access for keys.

Close to the airport, easy to find. Clean and comfortable. Although I didn't see the host, the communication and instructions to access the place was great. Was a great spot don the road for a morning walk too and a few good choices for a coffee.

Everything was fantastic, nothing to dislike about it.
This location is actually the best choice for a solo traveller looking to explore Melbourne especially if you know your way around with public transport etc. it has everything you need, super comfortable and easy to get to from the airport.

The accommodation was like a hotel room, so clean, comfortable and cosy for my brief overnight stay. I had a late check-in and an early flight out and the host was so lovely and accommodating to provide transport for a small fee. Dyakuyu Galya !

I loved everything.
This room is mind blowing big and comfortable. So much better than any hotel. The bed is huge and so comfortable. I can recommend this place for anyone! <3 Galya is a good host, she helped me alot and was so welcoming. I honestly have never stayed in this fancy private acommodation. The bathroom looks like its a 5+ star hotel. The room has everything you need. Best value for your money that you can ever find!
