Gorgeous and wonderfully cozy a very homely place to stay. Wendy is always lovely and welcoming. The breakfast is very generous. Honestly could not recommend this place highly enough.

First time staying at a B&B so we were a little nervous. Wendy made us feel very welcome, offering advice of places to visit and answered all of our questions. House on Hyde exceeded our expectations. Location, cleanliness and facilities were exceptional.

If we were picky our queen bed was on the smaller side as we were in the 2 + 1 room, unfortunately at the time the place was fully booked. The King rooms which were booked out, looked fantastic otherwise this review would be a 10+.

Fantastic location and wonderful hosts who have thought of everything. Very private, tasteful rooms with individual verandas and a superb breakfast. We will definitely come back and have recommended this place to our friends! Restaurants, shops and pubs very close.

Decor was authentically vintage & very cosy. Loved sipping tea from the fine china - very calming & relaxing. Sub tropical gardens & outdoor antiques around the home were beautiful. Port night cap with chocolates was a fabulous wind down from the day. Breakfast to die for prepared by the perfect host! Stay was worth more than 10!

Our stay exceeded our expectations and was simply perfect! Quality in every aspect from the bedding, modern bathroom, crockery, crystal glassware, superb breakfast - the attention to detail was outstanding. We’ll be back!

Traffic noise early in the morning was a little intrusive although we are aware the owners are in the process of fitting double glazing to all street facing windows which should rectify this issue. And, in fairness, the location does provide for a short walk to the centre of the village and its restaurants.

The whole "experience" of a property that captures, through its fixtures and furnishings, a bygone period but with many modern additions to reflect contemporary expectations. The whole property shows the owner's wonderful attention to detail......how about tiny pewter spoons for the relish dish accompanying breakfast and with matching antique china settings! Not forgetting, breakfast was superb.

We've stayed in various places in and around Bellingen. This must have been by far the best of them all. We are sure to be back. Wendy and David created one of the unique B&Bs we all love so much. A step back in time. The port and chocolate at night, the hidden gem of a garden in back. It was just fantastic and we felt immediately at home. Thank you - and I nearly forgot the exceptional breakfast options. Delicious!

This is a beautiful place to spend some time. Wendy is an excellent host. The facilities are top of the range. A lovely room, a private space at an outside table where we were served a delicious breakfast. Everything very tastefully presented and delicious 😋. The only thing for us was the mattress was a bit too soft in our guestroom, but that is a very personal preference. Linen, bathroom all top quality.

The breakfast menu was delectable, the fruit and cooked meal was so fresh and tasty. What a way to start the day. Wendy's attention to detail rare to find in hospitality today. Good central location, easy walk to town shops, pubs etc.

The hosts were welcoming. It was very comfortable and they had thought of everything that anyone could need. Wendy was most helpful re suggestions of where to eat. Breakfast was delicious as well. Parking easy and bounce there you could walk easily around the town. We were only there for one night and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
