I had some difficulty communicating with a couple of the staff due to their limited knowledge of English. However, they were still very pleasant and helpful. The location is also away from the town centre, meaning it was a little far to walk for dinner.

The cabin was lovely and cosy and well appointed. I was able to use the fireplace, which made my stay that little bit nicer. The location was quiet and the abundance of local wildlife was also pleasant.

The atmosphere is incredible at this place, perfect location, ample space in the cabin, the laundry had a brand new washing machine, owners were friendly and more then happy to answer our questions and queries. They had not long bought the lob cabins but are making a great go off it

Log cabins really look like house in the forest. Very clean and comfy. Plus you can have your own fire. Emus are grazing in the yard. 20 minutes walk to the centre with cafes and shops.

There was nothing I disliked or wasn’t satisfied with.

The cabin was spacious, comfortable, nice furnishings and beautiful bathroom, spotlessly clean( as was the entire property) Kitchen was easy to cook in and wood fire a lovely bonus. The location was convenient and the wildlife around the property delightful A wonderful place to stay.

There wasn't really anything we didn't enjoy about the accommodation and facilities. It would be good if they provided advice to visitors on how to behave around Australian wildlife. We saw people letting their children chase the kangaroos, and other people trying to feed the kangaroos on chunks of bread, and trying to get too close.

The cabins were clean and comfortable, and had everything we needed. We loved the fact that the extensive grassed area behind the cabins was visited by lots of Australian wildlife - we saw emus, kangaroos, native ducks, parrots, kookaburras. All wild, in their natural environment. Plus the views of the cliffs were just spectacular, and changed throughout the day as the sun moved.

    Nothing really.

These cabins are in a natural setting, with a great outlook, and in one of Victoria's most picturesque places. The cabins have everything you need for a short, or longer, stay. Nearly all of Hall's Gap accommodation is along the main roads but the cabins are set back and a little bit away from town centre so it's quiet. There is an excellect walking path into the town centre where there are multiple eating places but be warned, the town dies a bit in the evening in off peak!

Nothing to dislike. Everything to like!

Fantastic location, just a short distance from the centre of Halls Gap. Awesome view of the face of the Mount William range when sitting outside the front of the cabin. Wildlife plentiful, Kangaroos, emus, rosellas and ducks. Interior of cabin spacious and well appointed. Everything clean and well maintained.

When we arrived some how our booking had changed we booked for 2 Adults and 2 Children but when we arrived our booking said 2 Adults and 1 child and even though we were staying in a 2 bedroom we had to pay another 40 dollars for 1 child

The cabin was beautiful just like a little home and perfect location

The furniture, fittings and decor were very old fashioned, could definitely do with modernisation! Also carpets are very impractical, would be better to have wooden or tiled floors throughout.

Location, great staff, great size, very clean and loved that there were games in the cabin.

Nothing as it was superb! and great value for money and going back with all the family.

Everything went well. I was booked in at a Stawell motel, however the highway noise from trucks in most places I have stayed there = terrible, so I lost my online $155 payment and went to Halls Gap (20 mins away). I am a company CEO & frequent world traveler & these log cabins are one of the best places I have stayed! Beautiful quiet location, super clean and comfy rooms, full kitchen, wood fire place and view from kitchen was an area with kangaroos and I even saw a very big deer in the morning = amazing! Pool area and barbecues are all walking distance to the local supermarket and pubs etc..

Had a great time at Halls Gap Log Cabins. The cabins were spacious, the kitchen was amazingly equipped and the cabin was meticoulously clean! Also loved that the cabins are slightly away for the town, making the experience a bit more secluded.
