Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

AustraliaLooking a bit old. The room was good and the bed was comfortable, it was lacking any storage for clothes or anywhere to put things. The shower over the bath is a little dangerous and not recommended for older people. The shower needs some work done to it, it's pretty old but gets the job done. There is a microwave, but no cooking facilities and all the storage is taken up with plates and cutlery. Good place to stay if you are going out every night.

AustraliaThe directions to get there and find the key were very sadly lacking . We would never have found it without the help of the staff at The Sebel . If we had of arrived after hours, we would have been in trouble .
Location and room was excellent. The little touches like proper hand wash and shampoo were appreciated. .

AustraliaThe booking process was flawed, emailing back and forth, being asked to scan credit card & drivers licence, send it to them online. In this day & age, seriously, have you heard of identity theft? This was not secure & I do not feel safe in any way & yes I know they sight them normally on arrival, however there is no front counter, or reception staff onsite, its all a phone number and emails. We have a 4x4 & had asked for a car space, access was only 2.1M we need at least 2.3M So we paid for a space we could not use. Then we had a very angry person knock on our door and demand we move the car from a space we found in the driveway area, where I might add other cars could freely move past, however there was a wedding booked and we were told in very rude terms to move it immediately. We asked where to we could park, we were abruptly told just find a place on the road somewhere. Even then we said, we were here for a wedding as well and were leaving in the next 20 or so minutes, so all would be ok, NO we had to move it immediately. The wedding they were so worried about was still being set up for as we left. We noted two other cars and flower people working in the driveway, nowhere near ready. Upon our return, 1130pm the local staff, apparently someone is there, somewhere, had set up a barrier to the entrance so we could not park where we had the previous night. We did park well up the street, working our way past the stairs and entrance, covered in vomit, right next to the café. It was dried and smelly upon our departure at 10 am the next day, as was the another right in the driveway. Ahh the benefits of no staff on the ground! Overall we considered it to be an overpriced stay at a moderately ok room, with great access. The shower was in the bath and exceptionally cramped, thanks to the shelf right next to where you have to stand. The room was overall, clean. Would we stay there again, absolutely NOT.
The location itself was great. Close to almost everything and in walking distance. The room was clean if not small for the money paid, certainly not up to similar places we have stayed for over $300 a night.
