Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

AustraliaApartments weren't that clean but clean enough. Just in the corners of rooms there was dust/fluff/hairs. Was surprised there were no garbage bags or cloths to wipe the benches or wash up with.
Location is perfect! 300m to the beach or town which is great. There was a pool although the weather was too cold to test out. Perfect size apartment for a small family. Undercover parking!

AustraliaGetting out of the lift there was no way, that I could see, to know which level the doors were opening on. Several times my friend and I ended up on the wrong floor, going up when we wanted to go down, going down when we wanted to go up. For those who do not stay often some clear instructions on how to use the lift would be helpful; and a number on the opposite wall when the doors open would also be helpful. This did not impact my stay nor my decision to return when I'm on the gc again, but would certainly help to alleviate confusion.
The Hi-Ho were like a home away from home; good amenities and great location being right across the road from a beautiful section of beach.

AustraliaI did notice a few things to note. The toilet in our apartment didn't flush very well, and you had to flush twice. The hallways were wet with water for some reason, seemed to be coming from the brick wall. My child and I had a negative encounter with who I think may have been a resident at one of the apartments as we were swimming in the pool at 6pm. He came out yelling, and told us to keep the noise down as he was trying to watch TV and it was a bit late. However I note quiet hour started from 9pm, and we were not abnormally loud, just playing in the pool and using the amenities as any other guest. Definitely not the hotel's fault, but it was a bit of a buzz kill when you're trying to enjoy yourself at a reasonable time and neighbors are yelling off the balcony.
The pool was great. A really nice temperature every day, and clean. The apartment was clean when we arrived and the bed was really comfortable to sleep on. I really enjoyed the location, as it was literally just across the road from the beach and just down the road from the shopping complex. I loved that the apartments had full kitchens. The staff were all so lovely and friendly! It made our stay just that little bit more positive. We stayed for 4 nights and this was a perfect little apartment which was close to transport, Pacific Fair, the beach and many nice restaurants.

AustraliaEach room is owned individually and we unfortunately were booked into an older style room with broken curtains, a very musty smell and a leaking toilet. When booking you can't choose which room you receive, so you might end up in a renovated apartment with nice amenities, or an older, poorly looked after room. Please note this is up to each apartment owner, not the hotel management staff.
