There wasn't one single thing I didn't like.

The hosts were amazing! Upon my arrival there was a basket of fruit on the table, a loaf of freshly baked bread on the stove, and the refrigerator was filled with anything you could possibly want for breakfast! There was a coffee maker with coffee pods, as well as a variety of teas. The cottage was beautifully decorated, with every comfort in mind. The bed was super comfortable, and the bathroom had all the extras (towels, lotions, hair dryer, shampoo and conditioner, soap, etc.) The gardens were spectacular! There were sitting areas with different views, a swing, a beautiful green house, and flowers everywhere. I fell in love with this place - incredibly peaceful. I was the only visitor and couldn't have enjoyed my stay more. Thank you Mike and Jill for making my stay so wonderful!

    It was all great.

Hosts were fantastic - incredibly friendly and helpful. The fridge was stocked with tons of food on our arrival - most produced on the farm. The garden is gorgeous and the views from the edge of the garden are wonderful. BBQ area is terrific. We had a great stay. Drive to Cradle Mountain Visitor Centre took about 35 minutes each way.

A very warm welcome from Mike and Jill to their absolutely wonderful and peaceful property set within the beautifully kept extensive gardens in an area itself of great beauty, with Mike and Jill adding many great touches to enhance the enjoyment of the stay including the range, quantity and quality of breakfast food provided, general facilities and furnishings within the room and their own down-to-Earth demeanour.

Highgrove provided us with a relaxing, luxurious stay for two nights - the garden is stunning, the room was well resourced, immaculately clean, generous with breakfast foods and little welcoming touches (thank you for the homemade bread!)

We had two wonderful days in Highgrove. Nice hosts, a beautiful garden with a great view and a spacious, very well equipped apartment. And it's just a half-hour-drive from Cradle Mountain National Park. We would have liked to stay longer. Thank you for everything, especially the great breakfast and homemade bread.

Leaving, our stay felt too short. There was nothing left to add to our comfort or distract from it.

Everything was to our liking. Rural property, fresh air, friendly hosts, spacious open plan, warm accommodation. Ample breakfast provisions. A beautiful garden to walk around with surprises around each turn. Rural scenery, views from Cradle Mountain to the sea. Pleasant drives along rural roads.

    That we had to leave….

The breakfast food was plentiful and very good quality. Homemade raspberry and blackberry jam was delicious. We were very impressed and grateful for the homemade bread (warm on arrival) baked by Jill. The outstanding gardens surrounding the chalet were for our exclusive use, very special. We loved the heated glass house overlooking the gardens and of course the swing.

    We loved everything 😊

Jill and Mike were so nice and welcoming, the chalet is in a beautiful peaceful place, very spacious and clean, fresh produce in the fridge for breakfast and Jill made us homemade bread which was amazing. We were touched by their concern for our safety in a stormy weather. I cannot emphasize enough the great time we spent in highgrove
