Hillside Cottage was really warm and cozy, all of the cottage and so well appointed with loads of amenities on offer. The cottage is a short stroll from cafes, cute shops, pub and lovely restaurants, perfect for a weekend escape and not have to worry about driving once you’ve arrived. Our host Gayle was also very friendly and responsive with any questions we had about the cottage and village of Berrima.

The hot water did get used up fairly quickly, but showers was still comfortable with only the hot water tap turned on.

It has a very comfortable atmosphere, stayed in winter and the house remained quite warm. Suitable for a small group as there is enough space to relax nearby and still have plenty of privacy. Lots of bathrooms available for multiple groups getting ready at the same time.

The property was very comfortable and had everything we needed. It was perfectly located near the wedding we attended at Bendooley Estate as well as conveniently located in the heart of Berrima. Gayle was also amazing, ensuring we were able to access the property and even let my daughter play with their puppy.

We choose this property because it was right in the town of Berrima and yet was a quiet, comfortable stay. we choose Berrima for a mid-week mini break with my family and elderly parents - great place and precisely as described by our wonderful hosts, Gayle and Grant.

parking and access to the front verandah over grass and pebbles as we had my elderly mother on a walker and difficult to go over pebbles. An access gate close to the parking would be better.

Gorgeous little cottage in a great location. All the little details from decor to water by the bedside were lovely. We visited in winter and the place was deliciously warm! Will definitely be back next time I’m in Berrima.

Kitchen was limited in cooking facilities (an honest description was provided by owners though, to be fair) and the noise levels that come through from next door into the Garden bedroom are very clear

Everything about our stay at Hillside Cottage was perfect. This property is 5 stars and beautifully renovated. Spotless clean, very comfortable beds and great heating. The hosts are so lovely. The location is excellent. Walk to cafes and restaurants. We went for a wedding at Bendooley Estate which was only a short drive down the road. The hosts were so thoughtful and lovely.

This is truely a home away from home. Very well equipped, comfortable and quiet, our family group of 4 adults and 1 toddler had plenty of space. The country cottage decor sets the vibe for a stay in Berrima. I loved that the kitchen had everything you could need including a nespresso machine. The hosts had left pods, teabags, milk, jam etc and also kept in contact regarding parking, access etc due to the bad weather. I would highly recommend this for a stay.
