A perfect stop between Melbourne and Sydney to enjoy the country air, and get a good night's sleep. Our cottage was cosy and spotless with provisions for breakfast in the frig. The bed was extremely comfortable.

Water pressure, unfortunately we could not use the shower as only a drizzle of water came out and it was only just warm.

Everything the farm had to offer - animals, beautiful walks, views, accommodation, breakfast supplies. The dome tent was a unique experience and we loved star gazing.

    Nothing

Hillview Farmstay was the perfect place to break our journey between Melbourne and Sydney. We had time for a dip in the pool and to relax on the deck, our cottage had everything we needed.

Great overnight stay with all you need. We purchased some meat which was thoroughly enjoyed on the veranda bbq. The relaxing environment helped us rejuvenate after the days drive. Dog friendly and secure too!

Tent quite noisy in the wind.

Kids loved it. We did it as a stopover on the way from Melbourne to Canberra. Recommended for something a bit different.

Breakfast could have been a bit more substantial with a more trendy feel. Eg Sourdough Bread not white sliced. Better jam instead of pc’s

Great location. Somewhere different than a hotel room.

TV reception was very bad. Really couldn't watch tv at all. I do realise that where the farm is situated that bad reception is probably to be expected.

Accommodation was more than adequate. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast supplies in the fridge.

More options for breakfast. For the one day the eggs, bacon and bread with spreads was good. If we want longer stays would prefer to then get a choice like baked goods and fresh fruits

Loved the accomodation setup. And the plus for kids was the pool they could have a splash in. The fact that there were animals they could feed in the morning was a bonus.

Limited food and drink options on site, what is available is overpriced and needs to be booked in advance. Probably best to make sure you take your own with you.

Excellent overnight half way location for our family visit to Sydney, great modern facilities within both cottage and glamping tent accommodation. Great experience for children too.

The only feedback I would have would be that it would have been great to have the air-conditioning on when we arrived, as it takes the tents a couple hours to cool down, so on arrival it was very hot. However, having the pool there meant we had the perfect place to cool down.

Beautiful location. The kids especially loved feeding the animals the buggie ride and swimming in the pool. The stargazing was exceptional. Having breakfast provided in the fridge was a great bonus. A great place for not only a stop over to break up the drive between Melbourne and Sydney but also to stay a few days to relax. Plenty to do in nearby towns as well.

You can hear the traffic on the highway from our rooms. Spider on the bed at night which scared me but I guess to be expected at such a wildlife friendly location.

Kids loved feeding the goats early in the morning. Beautiful scenery and location. Great bbq facility.

You do get the noise from the highway which you can hear all night.

Hosts were great and kids loved feeding the animals. Place was nice and clean. Swimming pool was also great as it was very hot. Kids loved the goats coming up to fence to say hello.
