Phone didn’t work, tv wasn’t working properly, one kitchen cabinet door would stay closed and was annoying had to keep closing it only to reopen. App for room service didn’t confirm order so dessert never arrived. Waited an hour only to ring and say it didn’t go through.

Elevators couldn’t handle volume. We waited at times up to 15 minutes for a lift down. The apartment windows had issues and there was a whistling sound that came through most of the time with the wind. Maintenance couldn’t fix. Very disrupted sleep.

Location was good and the option to have two rooms as a family of 5.

Great location, clean and comfortable. The shower had excellent water pressure which hardly ever happens in a hotel and the products were Crabtree & Evelyn! Fabulous!

The room was well-appointed and spacious enough for two people. Quality fit-out and furnishings too. The bed was very comfortable, and the sheets were also lovely and soft, which some hotels do not have these days.

Location is fantastic. Right in the heart of Surfers so don’t complain about the noise with the door open as you are in the thick of the nightclub area. Fantastic outdoor pool area. Short easy walk to the beach.

Great hotel with great amenities. Staff were friendly. Cleanliness wasn't the best because the room had dusty and stuffy smell but upon reporting it to front desk, they tried to do something about it. That was the only issue with our whole stay. Other than that, everything was perfect, the location, the hotel facilities and the staff were very polite at all times.

Can't put my finger on it, we received a complimentary upgrade so very grateful - either way the cost of a room was probably more about the location and facilities as opposed to the plushness of the room itself. Nothing wrong, just missing a little 'zing' in the room

The location was great, the size of the room was standard, lovely balcony. I was expecting a little more 'pizazz' for the price to be honest. It was good but not amazing.

The only problem I can point out is very strong smell of mould. We were very disappointed as we paid a lot of money for our stay. We had to buy an electric air freshener and my husband had to clean the drains in the bathrooms. Was better after. Gross though.

The room was left with the previous occupants dirty clothes and the floors weren’t vacuumed properly. We couldn’t have tea or coffee as there was no milk provided for that first complementary one.

There was no clear information about the sofa bed to be made up for kids to sleep on it. When I checked in I was asked if I wanted it made up and I said yes as there was 2 adults and 3 kids. So yes we would need it. We had booked the 2 bedroom unit advertised as sleeps 6, to me if it sleeps 6 and I book for 5 this would include the sofa being made. I was told it was going to cost me $45 for sheets and pillows for it to be made. When asked I was told kids are free to stay and this is why I would have to pay. I checked everywhere in the booking information and no where does it say kids stay free. As it we had been waiting for our room to be made and stating not to make the sofa bed up as that is a rip off. We had to wait until nearly 4pm for our room to be ready. Thank you to the manager who waived the extra fee in the end, but started out stay either a bed taste. There needs to be clearer information regarding kids staying free and what the extra charges for.

The pool options were good. The property is in a great location straight out the door and your in the middle of the Gold Coast.
