No on site staff is a bit of an issue. The keys weren’t ready to collect from the lock box at check in and we were in a rush to get to a wedding. All ok, with 24 hour check in from the lock box, but would have been trouble if we needed to change etc. The key cards also shut off at 10am, so if you’re transporting bags in/out around checkin time there is no one on site to let you back in…

No face to face service. It would be nice to see someone, either at check in or check out. It's also such a shame/disappointing (seems to be since the place has changed owners) the complimentary goodies/welcome pack and selection of local drinks to sample (which is a great way to promote local produce) are gone.

We've stayed here a number of times and this is a lovely boutique hotel. Location is great, close to everything. Fabulous art inspired rooms with comfortable bed and immaculately clean facilities. Decor and amenities are high quality. The shower is fabulous and the bed is very comfortable.

ID and credit card details must be provided prior to arrival otherwise, there's no front desk after 5pm. I arrived at 7.30pm on a heavy rainy day. Code provided via text message is not working, when I called, I was told to walk to the Imperial Hotel to check in even though I've paid the full amount for the hotel. I was told later that they must take down my credit card details in case I steal something from the room.

The design of the hotel is artsy, unique, and probably one of the most beautiful customized boutique hotels I've ever stayed in. Everything has a special touch to it. Bed was very comfortable. I felt inspired and relaxed staying there and will definitely go back.

The staff at the pub linked to the hotel are really lovely and deserve 5 stars. However, for some reason your actual booking must be dealt with over the phone with an office in Brisbane and their manner is not the same. It's weird, impersonal and not at all in keeping with the close-knit community atmosphere of Eumundi. At the prices they are charging they should leverage one of the location's biggest assets; it's people, and employ a local or two to provide a normal hotel reception service.

Eumundi is a great little town to visit. The location of this hotel is excellent - directly opposite the markets and within walking distance of a range of shops, cafes, restaurants etc. The hotel rooms are stylish, roomy and comfortable with modern bathrooms. I'd definitely recommend it as a place to stay.

There is building work going on that we were not aware of and therefore there was no access to the garden. Our room didn’t have a balcony so there was no access to the outside space

Lovely place to stay, relaxing and peaceful. The markets are just across the road, restaurants, bakeries, coffee places. The room was lovely, very clean, and well appointed.

Credit card and ID are requested prior to check-in as there is no on-hand reception. This speeds up the check-in process which is nice but could potentially be a little inconvenient.

Beautifully decorated rooms, great ambience, free minibar and streaming TV. Gorgeous bed. Directly opposite the Eumundi markets (Wednesdays and Saturdays) and right next door to cafes/pubs/interesting shops.

Beautiful hotel, cleanliness was great and location was close to everything you may want to do in Eumundi. Even provided umbrellas for the wet weather we had! Would stay again. Loved the polished concrete finish and furnishings in room. Bed was comfy and complimentary drinks in fridge made it a big winner for us!
