How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Very Friendly staff. Had a great night sleep the beds were so comfortable. Deco was very tasteful. Breakfast was nice and staff very helpful.

Nothing. Every thing was perfect.
Nice room upgraded. Parking in the same building. Good Breakfast. Centrally located hotel close to shops and restaurants. Just across the road is Dandenong Plaza with food court and Reading Cinema for entertainment.

There was some noise late at night, from outside and from rooms near by, so probably the walls could be ticker.
I spent only one night and barely was in the room. The room is clean, with modern facilities. Breakfast was nice, although I missed some spreads or chocolate/maple syrup for the pancakes.

The wifi connection was unstable and would drop out constantly. Unfortunately the room next to me left their tv on loud volume until 3am and kept me awake. Not sure if the walls are very thin or that person had their tv exceptionally loud. I did not contact reception though as i wasn’t sure if anything could be done, so not the fault of the hotel

Can’t open any window and the aircon cannot be changed.

Friendly and helpful staff,rooms clean and comfortable, great location. Restaurant and bar on site. We arrived on Friday evening in time for super happy hour with entertainment. A welcoming way to wind down after a long drive.

I was very happy with the whole service, from the greeting in reception to the time I left , the staff were great very helpful , the dining was great reasonably priced, break fantastic, parking easy. my room was perfect , comfortable , perfect size for one person and for one night, location perfectly located across from the mail shopping complex

No lighting at the coffee maker cabinet. Toilet slightly ajar would be better if it overlaps the wall a little. Not the hotels fault but there were quite a few people loitering around the hotel area. Felt a bit uneasy at night.
Check in was a breeze, front desk were cheerful esp Dan the manager. New hotel, Bed was comfortable. Linen were crisp and pillow soft loved it. The interior was tastefully done from the colour coordination of the room to its toilet tiles. Plus, Hotel was opposite a mall and loads of restaurants nearby. Carpark available, was convenient and easy, especially at night it had good lighting.

This event can not be controlled by the hotel, unfortunately, but i do feel it needs to be addressed. I came out to the car park later that evening to find a vagrant trying to get into the vehicles to the hotels customers. I didn't feel that my car was safe parked in the hotel. I informed chased him off and told the member of the staff at the hotel desk. I do hope that this was logged.
Staff very helpful Paul & Grace went above beyond to make me and my 74-year-old mother very comfortable.

The breakfast was very good with quite a large range to choose from in the buffet. The cook produced a very tasty and large inlet in short time.
