First impression was not what we expected. A little bit of outside maintenance to the stairs would be nice. The grass and weeds at the entry needed cutting back.There was a lack of some cutlery. One teaspoon for five guests. Pots and pans left from previous guests were not totally clean. Burns on the bench either side of the gas stove. The wood around the window latch in the smaller room was decayed and rotten. The larger room was not totally clean with stuff behind the wardrobe and some items from previous guests in the wardrobe. The toilet cistern was constantly running water. We were told about the maintenance issues beforehand. This really shouldn’t be our issue. The maintenance issues should be fixed prior to letting the place.

Central location. Close to the venues for our weekend events. The rooms were big and spacious.

Where to start? Building is Old, tired, with cracking paint and plaster, marked walls and carpet stains. Access stairs outside are overgrown with weeds. kitchen: pans burned black, fridge noisy and unbalanced, cupboards missing handles. Bathroom: Toilet runs continuously due to faulty float/fill valve, flush pipe has black mould? ceiling fan dirty and seems not to be working, walls and bathtub have been painted at some point bathtub where you have to stand to shower is peeling badly and looks horrible, windowsill floods when shower is used. Middle Bedroom sofa is sagging with a split cushion, there were dirty? towels dust etc behind the wardrobe.

The downstairs window having a crack in it, the main bedroom aircon not working. No cooling down stairs, the stairs walking up to the property was starting to get over grown. Tried contacting the owner getting no answer. Pans having food still in them, plates and bowls being greasing and dirty still. Frying pan being broken being unable to use. Not having enough kitchen utensils, and not providing some sort of igniter to be able to use the stove.

Bathroom being clean, and stocked with body wash, toilet paper and shampoo. That the bedrooms were spacious.

1) AC not working for the 5 days of our stay putting my elderly parents health at risk due to high temperatures. 2) Damaged pots and pans that had broken handles and not in usable condition, and burnt bases; these can be a potential health hazard and would highly recommend updated equipment 3) NO cutlery provided. Had only spoon and none of the knives worked at all and we had to buy our own disposable cutlery; It's understandable that these things can be missed but having basic cutlery would have prevented us from having to spend money again and again on disposables. 4) Property was missing dishwashing liquid and which I was asked to buy and this is not a great customer service. 5) Properties description did not mention staircase and nor did the pics and my elderly parents had suffered so much difficulty going up and down climbing 21 stairs. As I had senior citizens with the inability to properly grip on to the rails, I would highly suggest an updated and gripable hand rail. 6) Carpets in a very bad condition and dusty. My daughter is asthmatic and had issues sleeping unless the windows were open due to dust build up in the carpets. Would highly suggest removing the carpets to prevent medical inducing issues, and make cleaning easier. 7) Spiders in rooms on carpets and wardrobes. I would suggest proper pest control at regular intervals. 8) NO ventilation in the kitchen causing suffocation while cooking. We had to keep doors open and exhaust on for proper ventilation as windows werw locked.I would suggest proper window openings and air-conditioning at the bottom level. 9) Beds were very uncomfortable to sleep and need replacement. I am having a severe back ache after 5 days of sleeping here. 10) The air-conditioning guy was sent even before we checked out interrupting our checkout and as he left, he insulted us. 11) The laundry man also came at 10:15 and started entering our rooms to collect all sheets and towels while my old parents wanted to lie down.

Where to start? There was rubbish under the bed and sofa as well as a dirty sheet behind the cupboard. The place is 3 bedrooms, sleeping 5 people but had 1 cereal bowl that was cracked and 1 teaspoon (no other spoons) in the cutlery. There was no shower wash contrary to the ad The wifi connection was terrible and dropped out constantly walking from the main bedroom to the bathroom, I ended up using my own internet. The hot water system was really only big enough for 2 people, not 5 people that the place could sleep. The tables in both the main bedroom and secondary bedrooms were extremely flimsy and were not usable. There were no dooner covers for the beds and the dooners themselves were covered in yellow stains. All pillows were extremely cheap and almost impossible to sleep on. There were multiple cockoroachs present at the property while we were there. One of the gas stove plates was broken. All the mugs were dirty when we came to the property and had to wash them all. The code is not changed between tenants The 'Houst' did say they would investigate however, someone came in to the property while we were staying there and away, nothing was taken so we suspect it was the owner however, it is incredibly unprofessional to come back to the property and realise someone has been in the house while you weren't there. How do we know that someone was on the property?! Well, the person left DIRTY USED PAD in our bin while we were away! It wasn't even wrapped! ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING.... We are requesting our money back!!! And going to complain to the ACCC about this property

we couldn’t find an iron, the single bed is broken but comfortable and we did lock a bedroom door, called the customer service who were very helpful and going the key to unlock.

Place was messy on arrival. Old shoes under bed and bathroom not clean. We didn’t have hot water for two days, we understand things happen but you wouldn’t want to bath kids in that bath (it’s painted and peeling). Kitchen has a spider infestation which doesn’t make you feel comfortable. Overall, not worth the price you pay, not fit for families of kids under 10.
