Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

AustraliaFirst we had a call 2 days out from our stay asking us to pay as there were fully booked and to help secure our booking. When we arrived, they asked me to pay again, I mentioned that I already had and then had to wait for her to find the docket. Then advised the lifts are not working when we get there and checked in and we had a room on the third floor. So, walking up 3 flights with luggage is not ideal. From reviews i have now read, these have been broken for a while. Booked a harbour view with a BBQ and ended up with a pool view and no BBQ. We had a kitchenette but had no cutlery, toaster. Had a few cups but no dishwashing liquid. Had a few coffee sachets but no sugar. No security, really, as all doors in the firestairwell are jammed open even to the outside world due to lifts being broken. Downstairs gate to carparking was also kept open with a bin all day so cars are not securely locked up.
Comfortable beds and clean room. The restaurant for breakfast was amazing - lovely staff. We had drinks at the bar at night, and the guy behind the bar was amazing. Made any cocktail drink we wanted and was made to perfection 👌

AustraliaThe reception person had no idea how to run a hotel. It was a one stop shop. Like faulty towers. No towels in the room, had to ask for them. Trying to charge guests double. 1 of the pools was green. If the hotel had professional help it would be good. Start by getting rid of the old asian lady at the front desk with blonde hair and black roots. Not a good look. When u walk in. The restaurant wasn't open the bar was way to expensive.
The room was nice. Simple but nice.

AustraliaThe reception lady was weird at least - I think she needs a break from work - she had a melt down with me over the phone when I tried to pay for the room booked for 3 ppl and cost of $133 for the whole booking, she was trying to take a mikie of me and wanted to charge $455 saying that the booking cost of $133 was only per person, she seemed to be very unstable as she kept repeating that and I felt like she needed a physiatry help as she had a hysterical and then hang up on me. I had to call to Booking, com customer service asking for help. Also the lifts were not working and it felt like it was like that for ever.

AustraliaThe hotel is most definitely in need of repair and maintenance after being closed for many years. There were a few issues with the quality of our room for the price we paid (eg. door handles, cupboard, shower), but the staff were helpful in assisting in some repairs.
We very much enjoyed the view, alongside the lovely staff members at the hotel. Early check in was also provided at a fee of $25. The ample amount of pools and the restaurant/bar were particularly appealing and enjoyable. Our children very much enjoyed the games areas and were able to socialise with other families.

AustraliaThere was an issue with double bookings and we were asked if we would like to cancel our booking with full refund and find other accommodation. We declined as lucky enough and already paid weeks before via the hotel. Check in was unconventional, we were just given the key shown where the room was and that was it, no formal check in. Other then that we were glad we got a room as many were turned away.

AustraliaThe property mention included breakfast I was quite disappointed that it meant toast and spreads, very bare minimum. At least milk and coffee was provided you had to pay for eggs and bacon Our first morning the Restaurant breakfast area was unclean left over rubbish in tables and bottles outside balcony area from night before. I had a small 5yr old even he pointed out the mess. I think the staff just left it for the next day to do. I’m unsure if it’s not a visited spot for many so maybe breakfast is not something this Motel sees to improve.
