There are some house constructions just opposite our building, so the dust and noise control is not as expected.

The location was excellent, and the parking is free, which is awesome.

It got really hot during the day. So if we’d been out all day and come back to the apartment, it was very hot inside. Have to leave the doors open for air ventilation

Level of service was zero. No reception and directions to uplift the key from a different location were vague for a first timer. The unit was within a large building bearing a name of no relation to Serain.

The pool was closed for the duration of our stay. We were unaware it was being fixed until after we arrived. We’re not happy that we paid for amenities that we couldn’t use & were really looking forward to being able to use

Despite arranging a late checkout, staff knocked on the door early for cleaning. This is only a minor issue as everything else was exceptional.

Amazing room with a sea view, great location right next to bus and tram stops, but also within walking distance to the main Surfers Paradise area. All amenities were included, beds were very comfortable. We were able to arrange early checkin/late checkout which was a bonus.

More kitchen utensils would have been great. Extra saucepan and a vegetable peeler. We had a lot of meals in, so a good cutting knife and chopping board would have really helped. Communication when checking in could have been better as the map was given to us when we checked out! Booking through Serrain is different to Rhapsody, so guests should be made aware of this. Very confusing and staff were not helpful to us because our booking was done through Serrain.

Proximity to tram line and beach were great. Nice pool, spa and sauna. BBQ facilities very good.

They didn’t provide anything extra if we need, e.g, I asked for extra towel and some sugar sachets, and I didn’t get them until the checkout.

The apartment was really clean and the views on both of the sides were amazing.

Stayed at Serain twice. First time in August 2023 we were put into an apartment which had front water views. Cannot fault the apartment, was very clean, views were breathtaking. Second time in March 2024 we were put into an apartment which was to the side of the building however still had some water views. While the apartment itself was clean, it had clearly not been previously looked after and had some scuff marks on the wall etc which made it a bit of a let down in comparison to our first experience with Serain. Nevertheless, was still a decent apartment given the views. The building itself has breathtaking unobstructed views, especially at the rooftop. Will stay again, even though will likely make a specific request for front facing apartment.

The apartment was hard to find at first as we didn’t understand it was in an apartment building with a different name.

The apartment had amazing views and perfect location, close to tram and was very comfortable. I would book again.

The apartment is in desperate need of updating and a general freshen up. It remained musty smelling even with doors and windows open, there are dings, scratches and cracks on walls and doors and the furniture has seen better days. Not terrible value for money considering there are wonderful views and facilities on offer within the building but we would not rebook unless these issues are addressed in the near future.

2nd time staying at this property and we love the location, ocean views and secure underground parking.

As soon as we opened the room door we were hit with a smell of what can only be described as sewage. We think the smell came out of the main bathroom. Picking up the room keys and dropping them off was a bit of a mission as you do not pick up and drop keys to the office that is located at the property. At the time this was a little confusing as I am not from the GC and didn’t know where exactly it was located.

The views from the room we stayed in were amazing. It was very clean and easy to get to the property.

The water from the air conditioner in my bedroom leaked when I used it, and as a result, my carpet was wet and my bed became smelly . This is unacceptable, and it had a negative impact on my experience. When I asked the receptionist about the situation, he rudely told me to contact my booking agent as I had booked through a third party.

The property is located in an A-one high-rise building and boasts a sea view.
