Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

AustraliaThe walls between rooms were thin. Nextdoor's voice very loud and easily heard through the adjoining wall.
I stayed in a clean good size room. The facilities were a little older but all serviceable and very clean. the Kitchen had all the appliances and cutlery etc that you could need to basic self cater. Staff super helpful and friendly.

Clean and comfy beds, convenient location. The reception closes at 9 pm, however, they left us a key in a safe box. It was cold outside after the daytime, but we had an aircon and it saved us. They provided a microwave, kettle, fridge, tea&coffee, cookies. The toilet room had a heating lamp so it was not cold.

AustraliaI didn’t really like the bed positioned right at the door, it could possibly have been moved over, otherwise, hotel room suited all our needs.
The price for overnight was excellent. The room was spacious with a kitchenette which was very neat and clean. The room looked to have been recently refurbished. Very handy having a restaurant on-site which was open on a major public holiday. Food and pricing at the restaurant was very good too

AustraliaThe restaurant was awful. My meal was quite burnt and when I brought it to the attention of the staff they just shrugged. I had 2 ladies with me who had mobility issues. There was a door into the restaurant right near our room and it was locked. When I asked if we could pls use it I was told no. We had to hobble around to the front door in the rain. We left thru that door even tho they frowned at us.
