There was a little bit of black mould forming on the back of the blinds on the main entry door to the accommodation, understandable due to humidity but was a little bit of a health risk for my immune suppressed partner.

Wonderful place to stay and the room was well setup and overall very lovely. We loved being in a rainforest kind of setting in a nice villa style accommodation. The owners are lovely to deal with they provided everything we needed and were more then welcoming during our stay. We loved the open fire place and the romantic setting of the room. A massive bonus was the bed mattress it was very comfortable and supportive for people with had backs like me and my partner, first place we have stayed where the mattress didn't give us stiff or sore backs. We liked that even though being in the rainforest and being rural the room was pretty much spider and bug free. Maybe the room has been pest treated not sure, but we loved not being inundated with larger spiders everywhere like the previous accommodation we stayed in prior to arriving at Hunchy Hideaway. Beautiful place to stay.

A new washer in the cold tap in the bathroom basin would be good. It dripped unless turned off really hard.

The cottage has so much character and the setting in rainforest was lovely. Nespresso coffee and breakfast supplies as well as chocolate and baked treats were greatly appreciated.

The following did not detract from our stay but giving feedback here to improve the facilities to the next level. We would have like extra coffee pods as 1 coffee pod per person per day was a bit light on. The cottage was not cleaned just prior to our visit as there was dust and cobwebs inside that looked like they had been there for awhile. For a two day stay, an extra towel per person would have been a nice touch.

We loved the cosiness and beautiful setting of the cottage in the rainforest. The hosts were excellent communicators. The bed was very comfy and the music and airconditioning was on to greet us when we arrived.

The sheets had some stains and there was a lot of dust/detritus under the bed (I don't normally look but I dropped a sock and saw it when I went fishing for it).

No hanging space, no privacy in bathroom with an open window into the main living area. Cheap cutlery, plates and glassware. For the price, the facilities don’t measure up. To be told renovations are underway when we arrive was disappointing, particularly when you pay over $350 per night.

All the facilities were available although we had meals in Montville at recommended places by our hosts. A bit disappointed with Flaxton Gardens as they could not accomodate us for lunch due to wedding function.
