Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Australiathe floor under the bed has never been vacuumed, the coffee cups in the room had tea/coffee marks in them so I had to clean it out before using it. no sticks or spoons to stir my tea/coffee. no blankets in the room. had to walk up 3 flights of stairs to get to the floor for the rooms as there is no elevator, a pain when you have luggage.
easily accessible, had the room with its own bathroom which came with nice hot showers, and working aircon when it was freezing outside, loved my cup of tea/coffee I could make myself in the room after a long day and settle down to watch some tv. love being able to have a night cap on a Friday after midnight.

Australiano designated parking even for drop off/pick up to safely unload/load bags. no reception area for check in/check out. need to queue in the pub till as if to buy drink or check machine winnings. i was asked to step aside during check in process to gave way for somebody to check his machine winnings. the main entrance to the hotel rooms is a converted "emergency exit". drunk people sat infront of the main entrance as a bottle shop next to the main door. a person was there when we entered after 10pm and still in the same spot when we left 9am the following day. we felt unsafe. the hallway floor makes noise when u walk or tow your bag. the door to the room has a gap wherein you can hear noises in the hallway. the door to the balcony cannot be locked. the balcony is shared between 4-5 rooms. the mattress moves significantly everytime i or my partner moves,hence, we slept poorly. my nephew decided to sleep at his residence on the second night so my partner & i could sleep on different beds. our bonding time was cut short. the shower space is too small. the shower curtain touches your arm/body even before getting wet. i stayed close to the tap whilst showering which caused me bruises on my arm. my family ended up not showering at all. i decided to check out just before 10am. i had difficulty carrying my things as i walked around to find an open door to hand the door keys. none! as the pub opens at 10am. staff requires customer service training.

the rooms appear to be in process of renovations. the room was newly painted with new carpet and beds. however the toilet, shower and sink tap were constantly leaking. we advised them and said they’d fix but they didn’t. no lounge, table or chair in room. towels were only suitable for a child and need to have larger towels. they also need washer/flannels. too many complementary items for bathroom. the milk was old and curdled when put in tea. staff were great and meals were reasonably priced.

AustraliaIn the first night my room have no bathroom, I have to go to public bathroom to take shower worth thing is there are no hot water supply next day after reported to the front desk staff change a room for me with bathroom again the problem is air conditional not working I have to open the window and let the fresh air in during night.
