Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

AustraliaI found it annoying that even after I asked at the desk, I never had milk for my coffee and or in fact any coffee at all. I also was not told that my room would NOT be made up at the weekend but I also stayed overnight on Thursday and the room was not made up then either. I had to ASK at the desk. This could be much improved.
The room was comfortable and just right for my short stay. I find the location very good especially proximity to the Light Rail. The desk sand restaurant staff always tried to be helpful.

AustraliaThe carpark is not great so I parked on the road outside as arrived after a certain time and left early. The window is double glazed but seal must have been slightly broken as could hear the road noise but was fine over the weekend. Walk was about 10 mins to get to places, would be handy to get a map to where to go to see/ buy things in the area.
I like the bathroom and the shower were super nice and powerful.

Great location close to Honeysuckle and lots of restaurants. Nice bar for a drink, very friendly staff. Quiet considering it is right in Newcastle. Comfortable bed and great pillows! Good Aircon and easy parking. Easter eggs!

AustraliaLights in my room didn't work so I had to be relocated, which was well managed by the staff. At checkout, the staff couldn't fine my booking. It was disappointing that there was no freezer in the room and it was surprising to be stung $25 dollars for parking overnight.
Access and every was super easy, which was great when I arrived late at night. Bed and bedding was very comfortable and shower was spacious. Staff were, generally helpful

AustraliaI was questioned by reception as to why I was parked in disabled parking. You don't see my illness, he asked if I had a pass to which I confirmed I did but he still questioned my authenticity. The absolute worst thing then occurred and he told us to go to room 212, we went up and entered to our horror, there was someone already in that room and the assumption was they were in the shower, we quickly got out of there. Went down and he gave us another room card. That was below standard for the stay!

It was close walking distance to Huckleberry Dr which is a lovely walking area with good restaurants choices. Close to the train station . The staff were helpful .
