How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

The 2 computer did not work. Ask about and was told that someone would be fixing. I doubt this. I was there 3 nights and no one came. I got the impressing that IBIS did not want to deal with this service. I did not have an adapter and the hotel did not have one. I need an adapter for an European plug. Went out and bought an adapter.
I did not eat breakfast at the hotel. Did have meals there. The meals were fine.

Bit of a sad view facing a wall and aircon vent
Very convenient location with bus stop right out the front. Bed was very comfortable and tv was good with Chromecast function. Room service was good and deposit was refunded instantly on checkout. Great shower!

Nothing. It’s slightly further out from the city centre but you can easily get a free bus there/ back.
The hotel was excellent. Everything you needed was provided for you in the room, which was great, including milk for tea/ coffee. The whole experience was very good.

Not enough storage - few hooks for a few hangers only (fortunately we were only there for 2 nights but any longer would have been a problem). No bench space in the bathroom either. Didn’t like the shower curtain instead of screen, however appreciate that’s probably needed for the accessibility for the shower.
Very central location, easy to get into Perth CBD and to get to Optus Stadium

Upon check in, the person working did not want to assist with our checkin for an extra night that had already been prebooked, insisting he could not see it and that there was not one. We were told we would need to wait until the morning for it to be resolved. This caused stress to us believing the accommodation was not available as he proceeded to tell us that you were fully booked. In the morning, when we went to reception to resolve the issue, the morning team advised that there was no issue. The booking was there and we could get on with having a great break
All of the staff except one at check in were really helpful and offered great customer service. They made everything easy for us and were great at their jobs.

Replacement of used mugs and glasses each morning. A couple of days were missed.

The shower pressure was very low and if it didn't have a wand I wouldn't of been able to completely clean myself due to the pressure. The TV also was older and had custom firmware which caused the TV to be insufferably slow and laggy.
The bed was big and they included a mattress topper which was comfy. the hotel room was still quite spacey even with a king size bed with a nice floor to ceiling window which is nice.

i was put in a twin single room and the beds were comfortable but my shoulders didn't fit on the bed if i laid on my back

Lacking variety in breakfast, every day the options were presented.
Great location, good size rooms, go size bathroom, plenty of lighting, good, reliable, fast Wi-Fi, close to local amenities and transport links, good sie breakfast buffet.

The room was a little smaller than expected but it was comfortable for a solo business trip. Could have done with some larger bins in the hallways for excessive rubbish. The bar fridge was quite tiny and did not have a freezer compartment.
Location was just around the corner from the training facility which was just walking distance. The room was clean and tidy and served the purpose of my stay. Will recommend to coworkers for any upcoming training or conferences.
