How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Lighting in bathroom could be better

Wind howls through the door making a ghostly wind noise through the night so I don't know if the Door-Seal(s) are damaged or need to be stronger but we felt like this was a bit unusual, but also likely as we were on a very high floor too.
Nice and MODERN unit with well setup Kitchen and washing machine/dryer allowed us to clean our clothes. Loved the pool on a hot day was nice and clean and refreshing. Right in the middle of restaurants and across the road from the beach, the LOCATION was absolutely perfect and they accommodated request for changes to our planned stayt.

Very minor issues like the water pressure was poor in the main bathroom and the dishwasher seemed like it wasn’t connected to any hot water

Everything - it was a beautiful space, very convenient and the staff went above and beyond. I loved our room and the bathroom lighting was exceptional for makeup application. The kitchen was well laid out and well appointed. The living/lounge very nice as was the second bedroom and bathroom. All linen was lovely as were the beds. Will definitely return again. Our father stayed opposite in the other hotel managed by yourselves and I feel we got the best hotel so thank you so much for accommodating us.

only thing would be the location from the main shops , but not really a big deal.
the staff were excellent, i have a large car and the spot that was given for the apartment was a little tight. they gave me another location with no hesitation (parking is in a secure underground carpark at hotel). the staff are friendly and helpful. the location is across from the beach ,nice, a little walk (20 min ) to main centre, but there are local restaurants. the apartment is modern, spacious , 2 bathroom, great kitchen and a lovely courtyard. loved it . the big test is would you stay again -- yes no Hesitation ,

Room was too small for a couple, would have suited a single traveller. There was no room to store a couple of suitcases no space to sit and relax inside.

This is our 3rd visit at the Iconic. We stay in the ocean front apartments & they are always clean & fresh. The views are amazing & there are various restaurants close by so you don’t have to go very far. We will definitely holiday there again.

The sound from the adjacent unit was audible but thankfully the people turned down the television.
Arriving after hours the check in process was no problem. Staff very kindly found a carapace for our three night stay.

The only thing we didn't like were the very hard pillows on each bed, very uncomfortable to sleep on.
All staff at front desk were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were large and the apartment was well set out.

It would have been nice to have a few extra towels for our family of four. we only had the four, which we had to use for 6 days. there were no beach towels, so we had to buy them. It would have been helpful to have them supplied being right on the beach and having a pool on property.
The apartment was bright and tidy. Everything you needed. Came with a few basic necessities: washing powder for a few loads, dish soap, shampoo, conditioner and body wash. very cozy and comfortable for our family. close to shops and restaurants. would come back for sure.

We stayed on the 2nd floor and there was no roof over the balcony. It rained while we there so couldn’t utilise the extra large balcony, and when it wasn’t raining it was too hot. Balcony furniture was a metal table and benches. Not comfortable or inviting. Stains on the lounge and dining chairs was a bit off putting.

The bed was smaller than expected. Queen rather than King.
Location and proximity to the water. Nice modern, well designed apartment. HUGE TV. Friendly staff with lots of tips about where to go and what to do. Nice sunny deck where we could watch the whales passing by. 😎
