There was quite literally nothing that we found to fault with our stay at Hotel Indigo itself. However, the parking was an issue on some days.

The breakfast was fantastic, I would definitely recommend the package that includes breakfast it was a great way to start each day. There were so many healthy options and we were travelling for a National Athletics meet so a nutritious and fresh breakfast is something we value. Then to be just across the road from the Markets that were overflowing with fresh produce, colour and very interesting experiences was better than expected so we have left our first trip to Adelaide very eager to return.

The food in the downstairs restaurant was hit and miss but the pipi pasta was great.

Very clean, the colour scheme in the hotel and rooms with copper finishes everywhere was beautiful and classy. The entry foyer was nice as well but would have loved to see that same colour scheme carried through the foyer and fooftop cafeteria. It could be a really classy rooftop bar given the right furnishings. Rooftop bar has a diner feel but nice cocktails and a nice view. Staff are friendly and professional and enjoyed the valet option.

The price per night was quite expensive, it may have just been the time of year as we were there for Gather Round and Adelaide was very busy. The overall price of the accommodation was probably a little high for what you received. The prices were comparable with Crown Towers Perth, which provides a much more luxurious experience. However, the price wasn't high enough to deter us from choosing Hotel Indigo again in the future.

The location of the hotel is excellent, in close proximity to the Markets and many other food and drink spots. On top of this they also have their own rooftop bar "The Merrymaker" which was absolutely brilliant. They had very creative and delicious cocktails, along with local beers and wines that you can enjoy while taking in a skyline view of Adelaide and the Adelaide Hills. The breakfast was excellent, they provided complimentary cereal, oats, muffins, fruit, yoghurt and juice as the buffet options. As part of the included breakfast you were able to order one main meal per guest in the room, they were also more than happy for you to add some sides to the main meal as well. The meals were cooked and presented to a high standard, it made you feel like you were eating at a dedicated breakfast/brunch spot as opposed to a generic hotel buffet. Room Service was 24/7 which was very handy, especially after a long day of travelling. Though, the items available were quite limited and quite expensive, the service was prompt.

We loved everything about our stay, the room was lovely! Comfy and clean, location was perfect for our plans and we had breakfast downstairs in the morning and thoroughly enjoyed it. We will stay again!

There was stuff in the room the housekeeping staff hadn't cleaned, even before we checked in. The coffee machine was dirty and stuck together, and the glasses weren't clean either: nothing a quick scrub couldn't fix however. The minibar was packed full of drinks that you could buy, which sadly meant we couldn't fit anything else.

The staff were so patient and amazing, the hotel was incredibly inviting.
