Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

AustraliaThere were a few little maintanence things that need to be carried out. The screen doors to the balcony kept falling off and the glass doors were quite difficult to open and close. The portable fan in one of the bedrooms did not work.
The location was perfect for where we needed to go. The room was a good size.

AustraliaWe had booked a 2 bedroom with 2 queen beds, but we only had 1 queen bed and 2 singles. Disappointing. In the 2nd bedroom the light coming in the window from right outside the apartment was very annoying.
The room was lovely and spacious, the view of the river was nice.

AustraliaWe have found with each stay that there is a limited number of kitchen utensils eg microwave cookware. I now bring with me the things that I use most often, but it would be better if this was not necessary.
This is the Third time we've stayed here at this time of the year. We like the convenience of the position and the view over the River. The kitchen is good, and there is lots of room in the apartment.

AustraliaPresume some of these these units are owned and outfitted by private investors…furniture is clean, but minimum quality, supplied cookware is rather limited and standard Dollar Shop fare. I guess most guests opt to dine out. Oven hadn’t been cleaned (someone really, really liked their fish fingers!)…kettle was non-functional…all remedied by host…but still…a bit disappointing.
Nice view overlooking mature trees (considering its virtually inner city), surprisingly quiet and private, very central location. 1 minute walk to riverside walkway, very close to Toowong Village. Secure offstreet parking (height limited to 2.4 from memory). Very helpful and friendly front of house. New washing machine, dryer…cable TV and aircon in the lounge area. Zero noise from neighbouring units.

AustraliaThe apartment again was great however. The double bed was uncomfortable, outdated and needs to be replaced. My partner inspected the bed to see what was happening and found the bed frame/mattress support broken.
The location of the property was in a very close proximity of Brisbane CBD and South Bank. Very quiet street, building itself it’s very safe, appropriate security. The apartment itself was great self contained. Very clean.

Australia- Would be nice to have tissues, salt pepper sachets, oil as basics in unit. - No globe in left hand lamp (front bedroom), right hand power point is faulty (left side of double) - No light above dining table - Curtains in lounge do not fit nor close. Hole in wall right hand side of window where place to tie back curtains may have been. - No gas bottle to use with bbq - Globes in cupboard were wrong sort to use in apartment. They were screw in and we needed batten type. - Batteries going flat in remote for tv - Light in outside area not able to be used because of no globe - One tea towel for 3 days. Spares would have been nice. Couldn’t ring reception as we arrived on Saturday afternoon.
GOOD- wifi, great location, instructions to get in good, couch comfortable and chairs too.
