Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

AustraliaOur room was somewhat dated with water damage in the bathroom/ toilet. I thought this detracted from the 5 stars.
Early check in was exceptional as was the staff member who checked us in. From concierge to check out the staff were exceptional. Breakfast was delicious with a delectable selection on buffet and made to order. Facilities were aesthetically appealing and staff accommodating and professional.

Hong Kongthere was a wedding in the courtyard which was right outside our windows. Thankfully they (and their noise) went indoor before dinner and we finally got some peace.
Location is ideal, plenty of good restaurants within walking distance, an excellent wine shop too; quiet neighborhood, short walk to the ferry which takes us directly into Sydney CBD.

New ZealandI booked the accommodation months in advance through Booking.com, however no one at reception advised me when I checked in that it included complimentary breakfast, I was only told when I checked out.
The rooms are lovely, spacious bathroom and comfy bed. Staff are friendly and the location is superb and so close to amazing restaurants and shops.

United KingdomA little more help at the pool with more regular clearing from changeover of guests. Maybe another cocktail waiter or two to help with early evening drinks as the roof top is popular.
Wonderfully comfortable hotel with fantastic staff from reception to the concierge and the always helpful doormen. Comfortable and clean rooms that were quiet and cosy. Breakfast buffet very excellent with a wide selection for all. Pool was nice with lovely sea views. Would return.

NetherlandsThe big constructions sites on both sides of the hotel without any aknoledgement from the hotel, no discount , no warning about it etc. There is a reason why we paid extra for the bay view, not for the huge crane view sadly
Fabulous location, we really like the hotel, though there is construction site going on both sides of the hotel, so a little disappointed as we paid extra to have the bay view....but it was obstructed by a huge crane and more of less constant noise, which hasn't been reflected in the price at all

After a very quick check-in, and offer of refreshments, Tigra Jang welcomed us with a beautiful note and delicious plate of dessert. We had a beautiful room with water views. Any request was promptly expedited. The hotel is conveniently located to all the best restaurants and retailers. Bookings for taxis or restaurants were left in the capable hands of Amanda the Concierge. A really enjoyable stay.

AustraliaCheck in can be a bit slow sometimes. This is only when they're under the pump, and not all the time. Also service in the bar can be a bit hit and miss on the rare occasion. Doesn't detract from the ease of use, location and facilities that the hotel provides however.
Great location, good facilities, rooftop pool the lot. Stay here a lot for work, and rarely have a bad experience. Easy to walk everywhere, easy to get to the city. Great restaurants in the area, and the bar in venue is good for a quick sit and drink. Valet is great.
