The house needs a deep clean. There were lots of weeds and general mess in outdoor areas that need tidying up. Letter box over flowing with junk mail, etc. The Venetian blind in one of the bathrooms was broken, needing repair or replacement.

The location was perfect. Nice heritage home. Having room to spread out was a bonus. The kitchen was well equipped. Being able to do some laundry was good, although we couldn't find any pegs.

The house is in serious disrepair. There is a huge crack in one room where you can feel cold air coming in from the outside. A wardrobe was moved in front of the crack as a means to hide the crack I guess? The floors are impossible to walk on without making noise, midnight toilet trips wake everyone up.

Having the place to ourselves so we could just unwind after a stressful day. The street is quiet and the house warmed up quickly. Having the ingredients to make a decent breakfast on day one was a nice touch too.

The couch needs replacing as we sat on springs all the time. Maybe they could use 8 days of rent to buy a half price Nick Scali 3 seater leather couch and then work on some new arm chairs too. There were no toiletries and when you travel from interstate and are moving from place to place having soap and shampoo available is important. I know it's a character property but it really needs some TLC and updating.

The breakfast food provided for the first morning was great as we arrived late afternoon after a 10 hour drive and appreciated having something for the next morning so we could settle in and rest for the evening.

Key box was a bit difficult to get open.

Beautiful cottage well set up for couples or families. Lounge and kitchen had everything needed for a long or short stay. Breakfast supplies were appreciated and plentiful

There were some minor maintenance issues which Rhona is addressing. The breakfast provisions could be added to with juice, yoghurt & cereal for people who don’t want a cooked breakfast.

The cottage was immaculately clean, and the provisions for a cooked breakfast were great. We loved the easy access, that all the rooms were spacious, and having 2 bathrooms would be a real advantage when more guests were staying. Rhona provided instructions, & included some thoughtful touches that made the cottage special: the stool in the bathroom with the shower, places to put luggage on in the bedrooms, heated towel rail (even though we didn’t use it), boxes of tissues, drink coasters, & paper towel in the kitchen.

The lounge suite had springs sticking into you & was really uncomfortable. There was a hand towel in the bathroom that was clearly from the last guests. Toilet was leaking water over the floor from the tap at the back.

The cottage was close to all facilities. Very well equipped.
