Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

AustraliaThere were 4 TV's. We couldn't get any sound in the large one, nor any of the free to air stations. Pillows could have been better. No feather and down ones. They all seemed too large. No insect screens on any windows or doors except for the front door. It would have been nice to have a breeze through the house by having open one of the sliding doors into the backyard with an insect screen.
Kitchen was well stocked. The toaster was clean which very rarely happens at short stay rental houses. Fridge was huge and the temperature was at the right level for dairy etc. We took a fridge thermometer to ensure it was at the correct temperature. Too often fridges are set at too warm so your food would go off. An ice pack was present. That helped my daughter who had been suddenly assaulted at O'Conner IGA for just standing at a check-out. She used it at least 5 times while we were staying to settle the bruise on her arm. Bathroom had lots of extras such as epsom salts if you wanted a bath.

The house was so comfortable, a home away from home, clean, and very well stocked. Coffee machine with pods, milk in the fridge. Chocolate and biscuits, just what was needed after an 8 hour drive. The flowers were and extra special touch. Beds were very comfortable, bathrooms well stocked with products. Laundry well stocked and easy to use appliances, even laundry powder supplied. TV in every room, easy to use streaming services. We didn't get a chance to use the outdoors, but it was an amazing space with fire pit and seating, sand pit and activities for the kids. BBQ and large outdoor table. This would be fabulous for a family holiday. Very close to the local large IGA for any shopping needs. We would def rebook if we need to visit Kalgoorlie again. The host was very friendly and easy to make contact with.
