Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

AustraliaBathroom cabinet apparently had the only power point for hairdryer and shaver inside but was locked. Wall tiles in shower recess VERY grubby. Bar downstairs which I was told would be open till 2330 or so, but arriving shortly after 2100 waited for a good 10 minutes to be served while listening to 2 staff members arguing with customers at the front counter and on the phone. They didn’t even acknowledge that I was there. On checking in there was no one at reception- he was in the next room on the phone apparently. And when we first went to check out the desk was unoccupied again. Our room rate of $262 including breakfast was a little bit over the top, but it was Good Friday. Apart from breakfast, there is no food service at the hotel

The Jasper Hotel is convenient to transport (tram) and a short walk to Queen Victoria Markets. Cafes nearby for breakfast, lunch or coffee with a few restaurants as well. Our room was very clean, comfortable, light and with a good-sized bathroom. I have stayed here before and have booked again.

The fact that it's an urgent check in (as our flight was cancelled in the middle of the night, almost 12pm), we got to the hotel already pass 12 midnight but the receptionist waited for us and quickly assign us a room to use. It was a great relief after so much stress.

I stayed with my daughter & we loved the fact that the Queen Vic market was right around the corner. We had breakfast everyday there. Also that the main shopping district is 2 blocks away. Easy to walk or catch the tram if you've done a lot of shopping. I will be coming again next year with my other daughter & I'd love to stay at your Hotel again.
