Got a kitchen (I have allergies so like to cook) but ZERO cooking equipment - absolutely nothing!! We were told we could rent pots and pans!!! Check in was quite abrupt and you had to sign pages to get a room I personally don’t like bedrooms in the middle of the space with no air or light

Location is very good. Less than10minute walk to Queen Victoria Market. Near park. Spacious living room with kitchenette. Not crowded with building. Can enjoy the garden view from the room.

The staff were fantastic. They accommodated my request for an early check in. There is a Jazz venue in the basement under the hotel. I was given a complimentary ticket and had a really enjoyable evening having dinner and listening to great jazz. Melbourne at its best.

Kitchen was not equipped with pots and pans, knifes, spatula etc. We had to request them and pay a deposit for them.

Good location, public transport a few steps away and a nice walk to the main train station. Lots of restaurants and grocery stores close by. Nice to have washer and dryer in the unit. Good size balcony with amazing view.

Great location opposite lovely park and walking distance from many Melbourne hot spots. Room had plenty of space and good facilities for longer stay. Bed was very comfortable. Quirky jazz decor. My kids loved it

Very happy, unfortunately our evening meal at the Jazz Bistro was poor.

Having a separate one bedroom apartment is a great idea .It enabled us to close the doors for the person who wanted some more sleep.Plus two big TV’s.

Bathroom toilet space small, not for those with a disability. No kitchen equipment if you wanted to use the stove, oven or microwave. Washing machine still had a load in it when we arrived, cleaning cloths and mop head!!. Someone just walked in the next morning at 7am to collect. Had to ask for tea, coffee, sugar etc to be restocked twice. 3 small hard chairs to sit on. Good if you like firm and straight back. Prior to arrival I had booked an extra day's stay. The day before leaving, three different staff came at separate times enquiring why we were still there. Poor communication between reception and staff. We were locked out of our room that evening as they had expired the key. Both instances required a discussion with reception. No information pack in the room to welcome, advise or give phone numbers

Bed firm but comfortable. Good view. Able to open balcony door for fresh air. Good shower. Good kitchenette space. Washing machine/dryer combo. Good multiple lighting

The shampoo was never been filled. Which we always forgot to inform the hotel. We used shower gel/ condition instead

The location and the staffs are pretty nice. The interior is with jazz and a huge saxophone in it quite cool.

When we found out our initial room was not what we were expecting, the reception staff handled it very well and sorted a new room for us.

wifi is a bit flaky. People smoke, perhaps on their balconies, but you can smell it in the room if - like me- you keep the balcony door open.

Front desk staff were slow and not very friendly, a smile goes a long way, she was on the phone when we walked in and when she saw us, she kept talking and crouched down behind the desk, a smile to acknowledge she saw us would have made a big difference instead of trying to hide behind the desk.
