We got a room upgrade “Jane” was nice and helpful at the time of our check in Swimming pool is nice but a bit slippery near the bar side We will stay again next time for sure Thank you

The view...not exactly a view when you're looking at concrete roof rafters and the fact that it says if you want a balcony room you need to book resort or deluxe rooms so we went with the deluxe and got this view...

Location...it was the closest hotel to the casino (ha ha)

What I did notice on entrance it is not very disabled friendly. I was ok but I could see elderly people in walkers struggling. I know there is the ramp down to the Casino but just a few tweaks would go a long way. The all you could eat buffet no offence but wasn't great.

The room was lovely and neat, tidy and importantly clean. Very comfortable bed as well. The atmosphere in the Casino was excellent and the young guy singing was great. Some very lovely staff.

The sheets were not changed and were dirty - the towels were not replaced when taken away. Over

Location excellent close to town. Room service was good . Food selection was quite limited , mostly fried and pub style food. Children meals and drinks very expensive and limited. A kids non-alcoholic slushie by the pool was $13 and an alcoholic one $15. Was not great value for a family

Spin restaurant Manager needs to do training with staff to be more welcoming to customers. On another occasion the coffee machine was not working. We were sent away! No trying to offer anything else and quite rude. Was sent to Palm restaurant but told that we could not just buy coffee. Myself and two friends had to drive down to the Strand to buy coffee. We were dismayed at the lack of customer recovery strategy.

Loved the food and excellent service at Miss Songs. Great Sunday breakfast at Spin but found the staff there surly and unfriendly.

There was plenty of parking, however it was all uncovered and accessible to the public. Bit risky depending on time of year you go / weather conditions / terrible car theft rate at the time. Gym did not have water or towels available. Pool temperature too cold.

The pool was large and had plenty of seating areas. Water temperature was a little cold though for travelling in June. Gym was a bonus, however the water machine was broken and there were never any towels available. Thankfully I had my own of both. Executive suite was huge for two guests. Bed was on the softer side but still comfortable enough for someone who prefers firm mattresses. Staff friendly and helpful, also able to grant us a later check in.

The pizza restaurant and the Asian restaurant only open from 5-8:30pm, such big restaurants within the building but so wasteful not opening longer than 3 and a half hours a night, would have happily ate at either of these for lunch

Not much at all , but of a walk to the strand , but not much else to complain about .

Pool was amazing. Splash pool bar. Lots of sun lounges. Plenty to restaurant choices . Twin room on exec floor facing marina . Had a couples massage at the day spa , highly recommend , not overpriced like some day spas .

We had booked the Ville Casino because of the pool facilities. We arrived in early afternoon and the loud, thumping music destroyed the ambience of the pool setting. The pool area seemed to have a focus on the bar rather than providing a relaxing environment. When I asked for the music to be turned down I was told that the manager had turned the music up. We went for a drink and meal at the Quarterdeck and this seemed to be THE place to be in Townsville and was very busy. The pizza restaurant next door was closed until Thursday and it appeared that the Ville should have been operating with all facilities open. Our room had sealed windows and access to fresh air is important to us. The Ville would be an excellent accomodation option if there were more balcony rooms at a reasonable price. A breakfast package would have been nice.

The view towards Magnetic island from our room was superb. The hotel was exceptionally clean. We appreciated the assistance and welcome from staff on arrival and the help with our bags.
