Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

AustraliaFriday night was noisy, was a shame that the rules weren't adhered to by some. I am glad there is a noise curfew in place from 10pm so guests can get a good night's sleep!
Location was the best, cabin had everything we needed. A/C was on when we checked in on a hot day. Loved going to Rye for dinner each night, short car ride or walk! So close to Peninsula Springs too: we will be back for sure.

AustraliaThe air conditioning system in our room didn't work - so we opened windows throughout at night to cool the room. We were out during the day, but it would have been hot if we were hanging out at the accommodation then. Had trouble using the BBQ - the gas kept blowing out which felt dangerous. So ended up cooking our BBQ dinner on the stove in the room.
Great price for a weekend away. The property was away from the main street, so it was nice and quiet. But it is easy to walk to the beach or shops/restaurants in around 10 minutes. The accommodation was basic but what were were expecting based on the listing. It was comfortable and had what we needed to sleep and prepare food.
