Susi and Bruno are a super nice couple. Gave a very friendly and thorough welcome/check-in, and are very concerned about your wellbeing, wanting to provide the best possible experience. Susi shared a thorough and great itinerary upon request which was very helpful. Room is spacious and nice. Bathroom is also very nice and clean.

What a beautiful and quirky place to stay. We stayed in the self contained cottage at the back accomadation and it was just perfect. Everywhere you looked around the premise there was something interesting to look at.

Only complaint are the automatically closing fire doors - very loud if not stopped from slamming shut.

Nothing not to love.

I will rave about this property to anyone who will listen as I only have good things to say. The hosts were amazing, easygoing, friendly, lovely, warm people; they made us feel at ease from the minute we walked through the door. They seem to also attract visitors of the same caliber, so we had a delightful time eating pies and chatting with other guests around the dining table. I'm not always a social person, but I was happy to be in their company. Every detail of the decor is artistic and tasteful; the rooms (and even the washrooms!) are beautifully furnished; the shared kitchen has everything you need; and the outside areas are peaceful and inviting. Susi and Bruno truly bring hospitality to another level, but it's also just the kind of people they are: nothing forced or fake, but they make their home yours as well. If we have the chance to come back, we'll bring all our friends and won't stay anywhere else. Oh - it's also very conveniently located; they have adorable little dogs; and make sure to get some time on their glorious front porch.

We should have stayed an extra night or two. (We went from Adelaide to Kangaroo Island over 3 days to break up the trip. Next time - straight to Dragonfly in one step. It's so much better.

From the first moment you feel at home. Bruno and Susi, the owners, are incredibly friendly and will help with any questions. They give you good tips for the most beautiful spots on the island. Here you don't feel alone, even if you travel alone. I hope I can come back soon.

Perfect location, great facilities and amazing hosts. The studio has everything one could need; it is super comfortable, clean, and spacious, with thoughtful touches throughout. Susi went above and beyond to help us plan our stay on the island and gave us lots of tips, including where and how to spot the wildlife. The little dogs, Kimchi and Lucy, were just adorable and very welcoming. The location is unbeatable, in the heart of the town with all amenities a few steps away. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you so much Susi for your hospitality!

Unfortunately it was a bit noisy with the hallway, bathroom and rooms so close together and walls pretty thin. Doors probably need to adjusted so they slam shut. Plumbing needed work due to noisy pipes.

Not being able to stay longer!

Susie & Bruno were fabulous, over the top hosts who made us feel immediately at home in their very comfortable guest house. We thoroughly enjoyed meeting and “breaking bread” with the other guests from around the world. They included us in their meal even though we arrived late. We wish we could have stayed much longer to continue to experience their hospitality as well as take in even more of Kangaroo Island. I will tell all of my friends to seek them out!

Would have liked a shelf in the bathroom to put cosmetic bag , this is in the cubby house.

The owners were so helpful . We had trouble arriving at Pennashaw we need to get to Kingscote .The lady organized a lift and solved a big problem. Also we both had knee problems , and received unlimited help . With our cases , where to eat and couldn't do enough to help. It was a fantastic place to stay.
