Lovely well designed Chalet with elevated views over the farm. Very clean and comfortable with everything you could need. Lovely balcony to sit back and relax or have a bbq with the friendly Kookaburras and Magpies who come for a feed. Karrak Reach is dog friendly with some lovely walks in the bushland nearby. All round a lovely quiet place to relax and enjoy your surroundings.

1. When we arrived, the house was teeming with ants, and even a small crumb could attract hundreds of them. It was certainly close to nature! 2.TV was outdated, lacking YouTube access, leaving the kids quite bored in the evenings. Additionally, our house didn't have a dishwasher, which made cleaning up after meals a bit more labor-intensive. 3. No wifi / the owner had some issues with Internet connection. 4. After we left, the owner claimed that two pillows were missing and requested $30 per piece as compensation. Despite our repeated explanations that we hadn't taken or needed their used pillows, it was an unpleasant experience.

The house's location was truly exceptional, far removed from the hustle and bustle of the developed world. Here, you can truly relax and leave behind your daily worries and thoughts. The house itself was clean and tastefully decorated in a cozy farm style.

What a wonderful stay. Huge thank you to Ashley for her hospitality. We stayed in the Family cottage which was impeccably clean, with everything we could have needed for a 5 night stay - including a washing machine (which we didn't use). The great thing about this cottage, is that it is closest to the animals. This was a highlight for our 10 year old daughter who could feed them right in front of our cottage. The animals are super friendly and love being hand-fed and patted.

Hands down the best accommodation we have stayed at in the south west. The atmosphere at the property is amazing with the birds and animals surrounding. The property was so comfortable and great for our young family.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Karrak Reach Forest Retreat and I must say, it exceeded all of our expectations. The highlight of our stay came on the 3rd day when our rental car unexpectedly broke down. With no delivery service available and our essential items running low, we were starting to feel a bit worried. However, Adam and Ashlea, the owners of the retreat, came to our rescue in the most generous and kind-hearted way. They offered to lend us their own car so we could stock up on food for the remainder of our stay. Their quick thinking and willingness to help truly saved the day! Aside from this incredible act of kindness, our time at Karrak Reach was nothing short of amazing. The retreat house itself was cozy, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing holiday. We particularly enjoyed feeding the animals and playing with their adorable dog, Bailey. It was such a joy to be surrounded by nature and have the opportunity to unwind in such a beautiful setting. Adam and Ashlea, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your exceptional hospitality. We highly recommend Karrak Reach Forest Retreat to anyone looking for a peaceful and rejuvenating getaway. This place truly deserves a 5-star review!

Cold floor tiles and other floors on cool evenings and mornings. Heat pump needed high temperature setting to warm up. In sunny afternoon bedroom very hot to take a siesta. So temperature control not great when it was meant to be solar passive cabin.

It was a secluded and isolated property that had gorgeous views, excellent privacy and the facilities inside were clean and in very good condition. I loved the extra thought of providing a tap for filtered drinking water, heated beds and the shower temperature for hot water was instant and strong ! Bath salts were also provided and the bathroom heater was much appreciated. Meeting the owners were also very lovely and they taught us how to feed the animals whenever we wanted, We truly had an amazing time and would love to come back again !!

Children were welcome. It was a tranquil place to stay. Close to wineries and Denmark. We were able to take our dog so the whole family could be together. Our grandson thoroughly enjoyed feeding the animals.

Adam and Ashlea is the best, they're so friendly, the place is so nice and my kids wanted to feed the cow, alpacas and goat, Adam will come down and show them. The plus point is Adam put my kids on the ATV and go around the property, my kids was over the moon.

The location was beautiful, tranquil, and peaceful. On our short stay, we could take our Jack Russell, Daisy with us as well. Great holiday overall. The chalet was completely self-contained and had everything we needed in it.

Everything was wonderful except we wish they provided shampoo and body wash.

Having a few farm animals on-site was wonderful for children to feed. Also this is as close to nature as it can get, absolute tranquility and beautiful view.

My husband and I spent four nights in the 'Tingle', one bedroom chalet, and everything about our stay was wonderful! Magnificent views, lovely hosts and the chalet was immaculate and had everything we could possibly need. Close to Denmark, great wineries and all places of interest. We absolutely loved being serenaded by the Magpies and Kookaburras every morning and evening. Just beautiful!
