Nothing we didn't like. It was great, the only shame was we were only staying one night! Well perhaps the only dislike is the town of Charters Towers itself; this property deserves to be a better located and better quality town!

What a beautiful place! Lovely furnishings and facilities, everything thought of, and apartment much bigger than it looks in the photos. I had a separate office and there was an in-apartment laundry which was really handy. Welcome drinks by the pool were a nice touch!

Breakfast was amazing, pool, table tennis, tennis all excellent. Staff were always able to help us in any way possible. Room was superb. Quiet, peaceful setting out of the main town area. 10 out of 10.

We had the most amazing welcome from Les and straight away felt at home! We had a fully stocked house with everything you could need for an over night stay - a cosy and clean space, as well as breakfast for the next day. Looking forward to seeing the development of the beautiful property!

The location is so tranquil and amazing. After work it was perfect to rest and relax. Pool was so nice with the country sounds is all you can hear. Rooms are amazing. The owner is a great guy. So accomodating. Makes check in so comfortable and gives you all the privacy you need. I travel far and wide and stay at many places around Australia. And this is one of the best experiences I have had. If you are looking for a time out with relaxing comfortable vibe. This is it. The wildlife and stargazing at night is also a bonus Great little pubs in town for a feed. Or or the facilities you could as for in your rooms. Free beer wine or soft drinks on arrival by the pool. Cannot complain about any of it. And it’s only going to get better as they continue the plans they have. If I’m ever passing or at charters towers I would not look past this place to stay.

nothing I didn’t like. immaculate I’d stay again, for sure and would not recommend anywhere else as I’ve stayed at other places here. u would not know u are you are in this town at all, being here inside it was truly breathtaking, I was skeptical due to being up the road from a mental health facility but don’t be swayed by that, keep going and get there, go inside, I was blown away, bath robes, bedding was amazing as was the showers, 2 rooms each had own bathroom and so much space, very affordable shared between 4 people at $400 per night worth every cent however I would not pay more per night for a place like this as it’s quite a high nightly rate and if it was just 2 people could be expensive. so hope they keep their prices the same or run specials at times to draw in more bookings. though it seemed busy anyway.

this property was home away from home amazing layout and architectural design, high ceilings and very beautiful furnishings.

What was there not to like? A surprising, unique and indulging experience after our many days on the road. We loved the privacy, space and comfort as well as the interesting back story to Kernow. If you are feeling weary and in need of a few days to take things slowly...close enough to the town to explore the incredible history of Charters Towers... Great hospitality will welcome you!
