One thing I didn't like was there were no windows coverings in the living area and in the bathroom. It would help keep the place warmer in winter.

Lovely place to stay, very homely, clean and very cosy and everything was provided to cook if we needed to and with some pantry staples as well and plenty of linen and blankets. Loved the fireplace and the under-floor heating. The host greeted us on arrival and had already heated the house, which I thought was a lovely touch.

Whilst the name is a great description, it is a mouthful!

An absolute gem of a property! We used it as a base for our 4 night/5 day extended weekend in the Blue Mountains, to celebrate our 25th Wedding Anniversary. We can honestly say the property exceeded our expectations, in every way. The old-world charm of the original cottage cleverly harmonises with the generously proportioned open-plan kitchen, dining and living area. The ensuite with oversized spa bath is an exquisite luxury. The gardens are meticulously cared for and even though we didn't spend any time on the decks or outside area (due to weather and cold), they would be a delightful location to enjoy meals or beverages in warmer weather. The cottage is well appointed with all the necessaries, including a coffee machine (utilising coffee beans), comfortable furniture and a lovely fireplace we made good use of. Highly recommend this cosy and comfy cottage!

This place is located in a quiet area with easy access to the village. The house is spacious enough for a family to stay comfortably and is beautifully decorated, showcasing the owner's aesthetic sense. You can enjoy a lovely garden, which is meticulously maintained, and at night, you can see the beautiful stars from the deck, which you can open the door to. We arrived the day after it rained, so we were able to see the Milky Way. Fabulous!

Lovely house during the day. Lack of privacy at night

The main living/kitchen area of the property has beautiful big floor to ceiling glass doors that open to the garden. Unfortunately they do not have any blinds or curtains so at night anyone from the garden/back of the house can see in. This also applies to the bathroom. The bathroom has been done as a large wet room with showers and large sunken bath. There is a large window looking out to the garden that is reflective glass during the day which is lovely. However, if you wish to bathe or shower at night be warned/prepared the glass is completely see through (as per photo) and there are no blinds/curtains provided by the host -even upon request. The window looks out to the backyard and the back fence where there are other houses.

The house is set in a lovely spot and has a beautiful garden with a sunny back deck off the kitchen area. The house is stocked with lots of useful amenities for your stay which made cooking for a family with small children very helpful.
