Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

AustraliaThe bathrooms were too far away from the tent when you needed it in the middle of the night and there was no lighting to help you see where you were going.
The cafe serves good meals, the bar was reasonably priced and the coffee was good. The bush tent was comfortable with air conditioning.

AustraliaThe breakfast at the Bough shed did not match the calibre of the Drovers Dream experience - it had mainly run out. No gluten free bread.
The Drovers Dream was exceptional. The receptionist (French man) on arrival was very patient and personable with an influx of people checking in. The meal included with the stay was delicious.

AustraliaLittle oasis near the Watarrka National Park. We stayed in the Mont Conway permanent tents. They had all the facilities we needed. Was around 0 degrees every night so definitely needed the heater! Breakfast and dinner at the station were included in our stay and were both very good.

United KingdomWe cooked at the bush tent kitchen both nights, using the gas BBQ’s. Although there was plenty of crockery and saucepans, there was a minimum of cutlery ( forks only) and no utensils other than a wooden spoon. Nothing to scrape down the BBQ after use. I believe there were issues with utensils going missing. Perhaps supplying utensils and cutlery with a moderate returnable deposit would prevent this issue.
King’s Creek Station is a wonderful unspoiled location. We thoroughly enjoyed staying in the bush tents which exceeded my expectations as they had air conditioning and heating. Extra blankets were also supplied and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was also very good.

AustraliaExcellent location, around a 30 minute drive to Kings Canyon. The Bush tent had comfortable beds and the facilities were great. Check in was quick and staff were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast and dinner options were also varied and the food was delicious. Thanks for a great stay!

United KingdomVery basic tent like room and wasn't the cheapest considering it is a tent.
Surprised at how much we enjoyed it, had a pool and was a good location for Kings Canyon. Breakfast was one of the best we had on our travels and food was reasonably priced and well cooked.

AustraliaToo dark with windows zipped up, a stronger light bulb would overcome this issue.
So peaceful and quiet. We had booked the Mort Conway Camp and hadn't realised breakfast and dinner were included in the price, so that was an added bonus and surprise. The food was very good. One member of our group is a coeliac and they were especially accommodating with her dietary requirements. The track in out was a little boggy due to heavy rains, so be aware of that. The accommodation itself was clean, however it is an all or nothing with windows, as they are great for airflow when open but zip up, which means it is very dark inside if using the air conditioner, as they can't be open. Have found international staff in many remote areas and they are always incredibly friendly, this was also the case with Kings Creek Station.

AustraliaRoads within the compound are unpaved and had some depressions. There were some pools of water accumulated. Zippers for the openings in the tent probably need some maintenance (wax lubricant?).
We were greeted by a very friendly staff. He explained quite a bit of details of this place, the accommodation and what to do there. Beds were comfortable. A hearty buffet breakfast was included in our stay.

United StatesIt was incredibly hot when we were there. At night the communal bathroom was extradinarily hot. Could barely stay in there long enough to do your business. In the morning after the air cooled during the night it was fine.
It was a unique experience. The tent was small but fine for the night. Air conditioning worked well. Perfect for a one night stay in the desert.

AustraliaThe hospitality in the cafe area was poor. The signage for the location of the tent are was poor & not easy to see in the dark. There was no parking by the tents & you had to put your luggage in a barrow & pull it on a dirt road to your tent.
The accomodation was good
