The laidback atmosphere, air conditioned room on arrival. Very good facilities! Right next to bus stop. The owners were very kind and attended to any of our requests right away.

our Aircon in the room was a bit loud

I love that it is a self contained apartment, with the options to cook for yourself. It is close to the Esplanade and just an overall comfortable place to stay.

The size of the apartment was huge with 2 bathrooms. The kitchen was well equipped and there was lots of useful things in the apartment like oil and salt and cling film. All the things you forget to buy and then realise would be useful when preparing food. The owners were really nice and helpful and the location was good with a shop and tavern nearby. The marina was quite a long walk away (about 30 mins) but very easy to navigate using a map.

these are big apartments, a litre old but very well maintained and super clean. The location is very close to the basketball courts so very convenient for us.

it took about 20 minutes to get into our room they did try to put us into another room without air con in the lounge room, my partner would not have that also seeing as we have a newborn and we’re looking forward to a movie night with the kids in the lounge though they did give us a choice and we chose to wait until our proper room was prepared… we would wait in another room but not allowed to touch the beds until we got to our proper room

I have a family of 5 so it was good we got to relax with much needed space and air con

Nothing. We loved Cairns and had a fabulous week’s holiday. Will definitely be returning to Cairns - we fell in love with the city and it’s relaxed atmosphere 😍

Central location but quiet and relaxing. Ideal for exploring the area, sightseeing. Comfortable and clean/well resourced apartment. We had a large private garden area and found self catering an easy option. Staff were incredibly helpful and we were delighted with our choice of accommodation in every way.

As this was my first time I absolutely loved everything about this holiday apartment. The aircon, your own veranda,pool and the view from my room was awesome.The owners were very friendly and so for that I hope to go back one day and maybe stay a bit longer. I would absolutely recommend this apartments to all who want to stay there.Thanks to the owners John and Noutekh I really enjoyed my stay there.🙂

John and Noutekh couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. Anything we needed was provided, if possible - anything from information, to trip bookings, to the supply of insect repellant! John is a very entertaining character who has many hilarious life stories to tell; but we won't spoil it for you - he'll tell you himself!

It is a little dated.

Very cosy and clean although it may be a little dated. Most basic necessities were provided. Apartment is big and good for a family of 4. Surrounding environment is quiet so there is not much traffic noise. Host is helpful and accommodating to my request for a late check out.

The Wi-Fi is too slow. The hot water sometimes runs out after two people finish shower. As we are a family of four, we need to wait a bit for the water to heat up after kids finish their shower.

The location is close to everything. And there is a nice court yard and washing facility.

John and Noutekh were so welcoming and helpful! We knew we would arrive after hours but not as late as we did... Getting the key and access to the property was easy and straight forward. Our had the fans, AC and lights on, so it was cool and easy to find. Our whole stay was easy and laid back. The perfect place to stay!
