The only issue we encountered was inconsiderate guests, the host was super helpful and accomodating in remedying the situation.

The location, easy access to town, amenities and cleanliness and quality of the accomodation.

Whilst we rate this 10/10 and don’t often give a 10/10. Some little things that can be improved on- hand wash was in bathroom but none in kitchen, steak knives would be good, ditto salt and pepper (coffee tea and sugar provided, s&p would be amazing too!) and a tissue box! (luckily we had our own) No big deals but could be great extras! :)

Great location. Tent was amazing, we had tent 3, nice and dark in morning, bathroom and shower good and soap and shampoo conditioner provided & heaps of toilet paper, cosy with split system and electric blankets. great quality appliances and bbq, fire pit perfect for evening (we brought marshmallows) direct access to river for kayaks, easy ride to Forrest trails with bikes. would recommend to all. loved sitting on deck in front of river and hearing birds.

Don’t place any items (shampoo, soap bottles etc) at the top of the shower…..there is a gap between the timber partition and shower wall..and things disappear and there’s no getting them back. Would be a good idea to enclose that space somehow…or at least put up a sign warning visitors to not put items up there.

Lovely location. Koondrook is a very pretty town. We stayed there 3 nights…and after going to Echuca to spend a full day with friends one day, at one of the very large and ridiculously overcrowded caravan/camping resorts there…we were only too pleased to return to our little glamping haven. I have done a lot of camping in my life…and although I love many aspects of camping…I now detest the packing of trailers, the camp set up, putting tents up, making beds etc, etc, etc….only to have to do it all in reverse when it’s time to leave. Glamping at Koondrook meant that all I had to do was pack some clothes, toiletries & some floaties and rods for the river. Brilliant! The balcony overlooking the creek was just perfect. The shower was heaven. The air con was a god send. The layout inside the tent was ideal.

I think there were bed bugs. My son got some itchy rashes all over his body.

It made our stay comfortable specially we had a toddler. The tent was neat and the interior was designed nicely.

Dishwasher is handy while not powerful enough.

Great glamping location and facilities. Hiking trails are right next to the site. Can also visit cities in north VIC / south NSW - Swan Hill, Echuca within an hour of drive. So as Lake Tyrrell within 2 hours, way closer than visiting from other place.

We had very noisy neighbours on the first night with young children and a dog which ruined the serenity of the place. Noise travels in this small safari tent village. It would be better if this place was adults only.

Great location - easy walk to town - very comfortable beds - good hot showers - very good kitchen facilities - nice outdoor area to sit and watch the view - loved the birds nest bed!!! :)

Limited phone reception, which is understandable due to the location. I obtained a sim on the Telstra network prior to travelling up, which resolved this issue.

Peaceful location, perfect as it is by the river and you wake up to the sounds of the birds. The glamping tents come equipped with the necessities for comfort (bed, heating, bathroom, kitchen has everything including stove). Gunbower forest and the town is walking distance.

You have to remember that it is still like camping. The outer shell of the retreat is a tarp, so you can hear the other quests at times in neighbouring retreats, and of course, the wildlife such as the cockatoos and owls. But it's all part of the experience. It pretty much sets you up for everything you need except a hair dryer and the lighting could be a little bit better.

Location is great. Situated on either side of water so each retreat had a view. It's like camping but with some luxuries like a dishwasher, a great shower, toilet, TV, and a split system that worked a treat. Comfort wise beds were ok, nice and big. Linen and doonas were very comfortable and electric blankets were cosy. Very well maintained and clean.
