Perfect! Perfect! Perfect! Our stay at Kubba Roonga in Blackheath, NSW, was simply outstanding. Chris and his partner excel at preserving the beauty of this heritage home. Their hospitality surpassed all expectations, and Chris's knowledge of the Blue Mountains area is unmatched. The Victorian-era charm of the house is impeccably maintained. While some reviews mention the rules set by Chris and his partner, we found them reasonable and necessary given the property's vintage. It's important to remember that you're sharing a home, not just staying in a generic motel. My partner and I felt entirely comfortable throughout our stay and will definitely return for a longer weekend getaway. Five stars hardly do justice to our exceptional experience.

It will be great if I have a table in the room. But not essential.

The house is located at a quite and convenient spot. I like the traditional decoration, lights, fireplaces, coaches and cushions, they are super cozy and comfortable. The owner is very gentle and helpful. The room is clean and warm in the cool weather. The garden landscape is stunning. There are various choices of breakfast and your selection from the owner. A fantastic experience for the night.

There is nothing of a negative nature I can possibly say about any of our stays at Kubba Roonga Guesthouse.

We have stayed in Kubba Roonga Guesthouse a number of times & every visit has been a real pleasure. I cannot fault it in any way, from the service, the food, the location, the decor with its old world charm. The cleanliness is of a very high standard. The free Wi-fi service at Kubba is very good & the owners, Chris & Graham, are both welcoming & professional & always on hand if needed. They’re great with information on places of interest to visit locally & all the surrounding restaurants & cafes.

We booked room with spa to enjoy relax together, unfortunately spa was a size of small bath where I couldn’t fit. Also there is restricted access to internet with no streaming and use from 6am- 11pm.

Very clean place, short walk distance to shops and restaurants. Very friendly staff (Chris) very warm welcoming. Room very clean with extra place to relax and grab a book with side glass of porter.

I felt so welcome as soon as I arrived. The property and general location is amazing. The rooms are great and the shared spaces are beautiful. I enjoyed the fresh fruit, yoghurt and ham and cheese croissants for breakfast before I went out for my hikes during the day. Cafes, restaurants and pubs close by. Everything was extremely well organised.

Everything about our stay was amazing. We were looking for a relaxing holiday away from our busy schedules and it is exactly what we go and then some! Chris (our host) his welcoming nature made it more pleasurable. We loved every minute of it. The house has been furnished very meticulously. Every detail has been catered for. It was a perfect retreat after a day of walking trails and sightseeing. Better than therapy! The SCONES were amazing. Chris is an exceptional host. Thank You Chris! We will be back soon! This will now be our home away from home!!

Think breakfast should be advertised "as included"...not complimentary. Devonshire tea was nice, but my misunderstanding, I thought it was complimentary. Nothing else to add!

Breakfast adequate & plentiful . Fresh fruit appreciated. Being able to use the facilities for self supplied evening meal a bonus. . Bed very comfortable, heating excellent. walk in shower appreciated by us..(spa not requested) Complimentary bottle of wine being a returning guest pleasant surprise, Chris went out of his way to ensure our stay was enjoyable Daily papers available in the comfortable lounge areas. Overall, accomodation very good. Nice time of the year with all the autumn colours. Garden would be a picture in spring (& when snowed!!) Plenty of restaurants nearby... & much more peaceful than busier areas of Blue Mountains

The house was beautifully decorated, very homey, cozy and comfortable. It definitely has that go-back-in-time, relaxing, slow phase atmosphere which we all need to escape from our everyday life. Love the music !
