The Café offered excellent coffee and breakfast. Shame that there is not a restaurant on site as it is a reasonable distance from town. We walked each day into town across the park but in the evening we followed the road and it is a long dark road to any place where you can have a meal. We had dinner one night at the Pumphouse and when returning after 10pm by taxi the gate was locked. Some people sitting under a canopy reluctantly unlocked and opened the gate otherwise we could not have returned to our room. That was the only unsatisfactory experience in what was otherwise a very enjoyable stay. Good luck with any refurbishments you may do in the future.

There are no options for lunch, dinner or even a bar on site. This is a major issue as the property is located a long way from anywhere and requires a drive to get a feed or drink. Expensive and overpriced for the location and lack of meals and drinks.

I had breakfast included my deals and did not receive any for the 13 day stay. I had paid for mine and microwave was only placed in room on the lady 2 nights.

Shower needs maintenance. Water pressure was very poor. A shower curtain or door is needed at the recess.

Confusion from start to finish. Booked with choice of lake view. Then got email saying that would cost a lot more. On check in, stand in manager (?) Very friendly and helpful. Checked in then he said we could move to lake view with no extra charge. Two days later, irate call from hotel saying we couldn't park outside our room. The hotel had no operating restaurant as advertised. One reason we booked this one was as it was supposed to have on site restaurant. After leaving hotel got phone calls and messages saying we owed money. We didn't. They had our number of days marked incorrectly. This hotel has a lot of potential if managed correctly.

No continental breakfast as was stated when booking which was disappointing.

Extra large room, well equipped, comfy bed, good aircon and wifi. Quiet location. Short walk to the lakes edge for lovely views especially at sunset.

The toilet needed a good clean. The fridge was noisy and we had to turn it off at night to sleep. The outside light was on all night and the room was not dark. If you stay you need to be aware that you must have a car as there is no courtesy bus to town. The taxi charges a flat $25each way which adds a$50extra to your dinner bill. There is a path it is not considered safe after dark. Once the renovation is complete and the staff shortage issues sorted I am sure it will improve

Andrew was extremely helpful as were all the staff. The location by the laily pond gave us a great view . The room was comfortable.

I requested extra bed - not delivered. Restaurant was closed so no breakfast included despite paying for it Pool was closed But above all, none of the staff we spoke to about these issues seemed to care. No apologies or offers of alternatives.

The view from the room was pretty spectacular. The Manager kindly gave us a ride to the airport when we left because the KNX taxis were unreliable - much appreciated

Had to keep the curtains closed as now sheer curtain to stop people looking into room. Sadly chef was in hospital so we had to find somewhere else to eat which proved difficult. Second night restaurant open for bookings only but offered take away. We had already eaten when we got back from our days outing.

The Natives had a noisy party with yelling arguing etc and a stay drunk walking through the rooms at night. But with t he door shut we could hardly hear them.

Location at the river is so pretty. We enjoyed walking around the grounds and would have loved to have had a swim to cool down. Maybe next time.
