It would be impossible not to relax in this gorgeous home surrounded by bush. Total silence day and night. The home is clean and comfortable and perhaps due to materials used to build it, it instantly feels grounding. Plenty of good restaurants in the area so no need to cook. Perfect weekend Thank you

The lighting.

The location, the kangaroos, the birds, the solitude, the fact that it was all hand made from resources from the property, the wifi, and the exceptionally fast response on Christmas Day when a storm caused an issue. The uniqueness of the property, it was all excellent.

The location was so peaceful. We were met by over 20 kangaroos in the gardens which was beautiful. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay it was very relaxing and Cabin was great everything you need.

We loved our stay at this villa. We have a family of four 2 adults and 2 young kids. Kids absolutely enjoyed it by spending their time in nature and admiring kangaroos which were near our stay. It is very spacious and we had enough beds for everyone. Rooms were clean and equipped with everything you need. Kitchen was lovely and had all the amenities. Thank you for making our stay so memorable. Highly recommend this place!!

The only thing I would suggest is to have one brighter light in the bathroom (our eyes have got worse as we’ve got older!).

Wow! What’s not to love. It’s secluded, there are kangaroos everywhere, birds too, and the views are gorgeous. The beds are firm and really comfortable, the couches are comfortable, especially the round ones by the windows, the kitchen has everything you need, the bathroom has an excellent hot tub and double showers, the water is hot and the place just had a lovely ambience. We are return guests, it’s so good.

Loved reading about the history and the build. Unique construction with a great layout and use of space. Very thoughtful inclusions i.e., coffee machine and great crockery. All needs and wants were available great hosts and amazing property.

It would be nice to have some paper towel for cleaning hands with and maybe an extra tea towel. But that is little things, there’s nothing we dislike about the property.

We love staying at La Boheme, it is always so peaceful and love seeing the kangaroos. We even got into the board games with the kids.

Loved the whole hand made house, the location, it was a perfect getaway. Peter even had the fire going for us on arrival. The kangaroos and joeys were out in the morning it was beautiful.

Loved how beautiful and big the home is. With our family of four was it felt so big. Loved the fire place and never-ending firewood. Best part for my family was to bang out respectfully with kangaroos and wake up to them in the yard. Cant wait to return for the nest adventure

I am not sure what the image above the toilet is about, however if you can put it outside in a clean area, it will be perfect. The image on the front door is absolutely beautiful.

I can feel that the owners make a great effort to make it comfortable for the holiday makers. And I love the books in my bedroom and the decorations in the villa, I guess the owners are not only artistic but also philosophical.

It was all lovely. No negatives. As long as you are aware that you need to bring supplies. Couldn't work oven but that was probably because we don't have that sort.

A little out of town. Car definitely needed. No facilities nearby. Lovely bush setting. Kangaroos everywhere.

Wonderful rural location readily accessible (by car) to Hepburn Springs and Daylesford. Wifi and Cable TV for the rural-challenged. Quiet and adjacent to a wonderful pottery studio belonging to the owners of the property. Easy arrival/departure. Provided with tea and coffee to make but if you want breakfast will need to prepare or go into town. Bonus alert !! There is a"Mob" or "Troop" of wild Kangaroos in the neighborhood that make their presence known in the early evening and the early morning. Also sighted a local Kookaburra. Great combination of rural relaxed quiet but close proximity to towns and an excellent Indian restaurant.

We loved everything...there was nothing we didn't like. We are looking forward to returning for a longer stay soon.

We loved the tranquility, such relaxing & comfortable accommodation. The setting is stunningly beautiful, so private and secluded that we felt we were on our own with know one else near us for miles even though we were actually very close to town. We loved reading about how the accommodation was built & where materials were sourced from. Superbly incredible to say the least and we will most definately return but for a longer stay. Thank you for sharing your beautiful piece of Australia with us.
