Great location. Very clean, beautifully decorated, comfortable. We were given a lovely fresh loaf of bread & lots of extras for breakfast. Loved staying at La Dolce Vita and would recommend to anyone wanting a get-away place to stay. Owners very helpful.

Every detail has been carefully considered in this supremely tranquil hinterland escape. Ingrid and James gave me a very warm welcome and ensured that the kitchen was well-stocked for my stay. The bed (with a view) was so comfortable and the cheerful birdsong was the perfect soundtrack for my mini-break. Everything is impressively clean and the shower is one of the best! The stars in the wide open sky at night were an unexpected bonus.

James & Ingrid provided the most well appointed, clean & adorable room. This space is a 20/10. Nothing like waking up, having a cuppa in bed and watching the native birds come to feed.

Beautifully decorated with view out to the well maintained garden. Very generous supplies for breakfast, a bottle of wine, freshly made bread and plum cake like my partners mother used to make. Hosts were very friendly. A lovely country stay.

If you are looking for a stand-alone unit that is secluded, then this stay is probably not the right fit for you. However, if you are looking for a comfortable, homely environment where you will feel welcomed by a couple who goes out of their way to make your stay as comfortable as possible, then this is the place for you! We were welcomed with a freshly baked loaf of bread that was simply divine! That, together with sitting outside in the fresh open air, watching the birds and enjoying the view, made our stay memorable! We will be returning!

The self-contained unit is well maintained. Everything is very clean. It’s comfortable and spacious with all needs taken care of. There is a pod coffee machine, plenty of fresh milk, a fridge stocked with bacon, eggs, yoghurt, fruit, and butter. The shelves are stocked with different cereals (healthy gluten free), teas, coffees, milo, etc. There is a games cupboard, tv with Netflix, a hairdryer and first aid kit in the bathroom cupboard. Freshly washed towels and a very comfortable bed. It feels like a home away from home.

Our stay at La Docle Vita was one of the most amazing. The hosts Ingrid and James have really put so much of love and effort into making this en suite like a warm cozy home for their guests. This was a 5/5 stay without a doubt! While everything for breakfast is provided you may need to cook your eggs and bacon. But there are sooo many other easy breakfast options provided (GF included) too like 'The bread', jams, Yoghurt, GF cereals, coffee and more... ... And the atmosphere and view is outstanding. Details: We are a family with a young child. Here are the highlights of this place much deserving of appreciation. As a family: - The cleanliness was 5/5. Least spotting of dust compared to many other rooms. Clean bathrooms, fantastically stocked. - The room atmosphere was 5/5, inspite of its location on thick beautiful grasslands and the rain, we had no issues. - Also a beautiful location to spot birds, kangaroos and brown hares. - Service: we could go on about this, 1. The couple were very warm and welcoming. They respnded to us immediately. 2. A well stocked apartment (Faaaaar better than a hotel) - The absolutely delicious bread baked by the hosts itself. - Kitchen stocked with required breakfast items including GF cereals, a Nespresso machine and coffee sachets, frother, variety of tea including herbal, eggs, bacon and more. - required cutlery and an electric frying pan. - shampoos and soaps including products which don't have SLS and reasonably natural. I appreciated this. There were even cleansing wipes if you needed them. - beds were comfy. Everyone including our toddler slept well.

Hosts were absolute delight! Very warm welcome, excellent little cottage ... kinda everything in one very spacious room! Location is off the charts ❤️ Next time I visit QLD, I am making time to stay at this place so I can be close to nature, serenity, peace & to experience the sound of silence! Not even a caution but just an advice to fellow travellers - when you make a booking here, make sure to call our lovely host Ingrid and give her a heads up. She prefers it. 😊

Ingrid and James are very friendly and helpful. Accommodation well equipped and clean. Fresh baked bread and cookies, fridge full with drinks and food. Really nice garden with the possibility to watch a lot of birds! We enjoyed our stay and can fully recommend it!
