I wanted to clarify a few things on the facilities and tried contacting the reception before I checked in. None of my calls were picked up and went to voicemails. Calls were returned 24 hours later and I was advised of staff shortages due to covid protocols. I wish this is the case and it is only an interim measure

Facilities within the resort was excellent. Good options for kids and family to unwind and relax. Lake canoeing, tennis, archery, bike tracks within the property was excellent. Swimming pool was heated and clean. The property was well kept. Applicances were of top notch quality. 3 samsung 40 inch hd TV with Bose music system. All kitchen appliances were of bosch make. Pans and pots were spic and span. Ample cutleries.

The on-site food could be better. We ended up preparing our own meals - the facilities and views from the chalet made this a great alternative to eating out.

On-site activities, mountain bike trails, chalet, proximity to Thredbo and Jindabyne.

Two slight downsides were 1) the coffee at the Larder wasn't great and 2) the massage was not that great either. I think both point to the fact that it is really hard to find experienced staff at the moment and that it is particularly hard to find staff in regional areas. I am certain that with more time, training and borders reopening that there will be improvements. I also observed that the older chalets are beginning to look quite dated now. I was worried about the safety of the upstairs apartments (travelled with two toddlers) so was relieved we received the room that we did.

We went in summer and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the facilities and the townhouse we were provided. I was prepared for the worst having read some of the reviews on here but we were given a newer chalet which made us feel at home and relaxed all at once. Thank you so much for allocating this chalet to us. Breakfast was good. Dinner at Cuisine was excellent. Our kids loved all the activities. The staff were so lovely. We loved it and booked our next stay on the drive back to Sydney!!

No wifi in chalets which prevented any use of Netflix, Stan etc….Not many dining options, partly due to Covid restrictions.

As usual in Australia service is not good. There is no service at all while your stay. The only contact we had was at breakfast and was very poor unless for the lady that served the table.personnel at the entrance of cuisine was rude. They have problems with their system every day to let us join breakfast. Breakfast by the way is very very poor, or English breakfast or a croissant. there is cereal for kids. and that it. let's say this is kind of a rental apartment with breakfast in a nearby restaurant, not a resort. Kitchen small appliances are very very poor for the price, not even a coffee machine? blender? even and Airbnb is better prepared.

The location is stunning and the chalet and installations are pretty good. the deers in the morning around the house were magical hot water is great

Bacon was undercooked at breakfast everyday, which was a bit gross. The staff were so lovely, so I felt bad having to ask them to send it back to the kitchen to cook it more. Your wait staff at the breakfast service are delightful. Coffee machine was broken down in the café which was a bit annoying! Overall the grounds and buildings are pretty lovely.. especially the lake. Just a bit tired looking.. could do with a little freshen up. Playing golf with all the animal droppings everywhere was impossible... would suggest one of the team members clear it up each morning so the facilities could be enjoyed better. Literally thousands of wombat, duck and kangaroo poops on every inch of grass and green! And the bows and arrows for archery were a broken.. most of them have been retied and sort of fixed, but they need new ones. All the gold carts were broken too. Day spa experience was amazing. Best massage ever! And we got to see Wally the Wombat which made our 7 years old very happy! How cute, especially loved his mail box and letter writing set up.

Paid $400 a night for a property which didn't even have an air-conditioning. It was 28 degrees and no air cons. Facilities were a bit worn out. Thredbo resort is 15 minutes away from this place and it has better facilities and is closer to all activities.

Wild life around the resort was beautiful.

Hello All , I stayed with my family of 6 (4 Adults and 2 children) in 2 x 1-bedroom chalet for 4 nights (Booking IDs 235110 and 236360). and were allocated Chalets 3A and 3B on Little Threadbo Road. Here are a few instances where the facilities and hospitality were really awful. We have taken photos of the same and shown them to the front office managers, Matt and Lauren. They didn't show any willingness to resolve these and heard everything with a flat face. Even the basic empathy for the 'customer in pain' is nonexistent. I have also attached photos for each of the items listed below. 1. The horrible steepness of the driveway scuffed the front and rear of my car badly. Response from Manager Matt :"We do not own the roads , so can not solve this , I am sorry . Park your car somewhere else ." 2. The lounge carpets were not clean and had dropping on them. 3. The carpet cleaning stick is full of dirt and hair. It made the carpet dirtier if used. 4. There was dust all over the furniture, like lamp shades, bedside tables, Shelves in the wardrobe, etc. Even after reporting it twice at the reception, no one from housekeeping showed up for a clean. 5. There was a severe fire hazard and injury risk due to broken/chipped furniture with sharp flakes ready to pierce your skin. A wood fireplace has no protection for the kids. (They should not have allocated this chalet in the first place, considering it was a family booking with young kids.) 6. A spider web hanging from the ceiling (not a good sight for an apparently 4-star facility). 7. Furniture was in a worn-out state with an uneven surface, a tear in the couch, dirt and hair sticking at the bottom of the legs, etc. No one cared to give them a basic wipe. 8. The balcony's wooden deck and outdoor furniture were covered with moss and dirt, were completely unusable and unhygenic. This was not the case for the adjacent balcony of the owner, which was perfectly clean.
