The obvious one was the property is a little overpriced and the train line so close to the property, which is not anyone’s fault. The only other problem, which is not the properties issue is the inconsiderate guests that can’t live without making a noise either talking loud on mobile phones or slamming doors at some ungodly hour.

The location is excellent, close to the lake and amenities. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Great parking available also.

The pictures are a bit misleading. While the room was still nice it just isn’t like the pictures. The pictures are for the hotel but the double budget room I booked is in a motel style building at the back of the carpark. Not the biggest issue but just a shock as it’s not what we were expecting.

Be good if the mirror was in the bathroom where the lighting was very good! I’d just put a nice round one in the kitchen, and the big one in the bathroom. Girls like good lighting when doing their makeup. Couldn’t see the wifi code, or number to call reception. Not enough milk in the fridge.

Good size room with firm, but comfy bed. Plenty of parking. Was warm and cosy. Extra blankets. Cross the road from lake.

No gym facilities. Power points behind the bed were impossible to use to charge phone, watch etc. Only one remote control for the 2 TVs and only 2 glasses in the kitchenette (there were mugs and coffee cups).

Perfect location for a stroll or jog around the lake across the road. Also, the coffee van there serves great coffee! We had a 1 bed appt, with an updated bathroom, and a balcony with a nice southerly view of the property and lake.

Breakfast although advertised as 7 to 9.30 am found that when I arrived at 9.10 breakfast had finished. Advised by restaurant staff that it was quite so they finished early. Found this very unprofessional and disappointing. Reported this to reception upon booking out.

Not something they can fix, but the train line is a little noisy at the back of the units overnight. Closing internal door on second night helped.

Great location, clean room with comfortable beds. Great bathroom amenities (especially when I forgot mine!). Bendigo as a whole is expensive, but this was a good option at a reasonable price. We will definitely use again next year!

The bed was very comfortable but both my mum and I found the doona much too hot. We tried the blanket instead-not warm enough. ( Suggest two blankets be available in future). The wheelchair accessible bathroom was nice & big and the requested shower mat was provided. However, there was nowhere to put your clothes so you could dress after the shower & nothing to sit on except the toilet-whch had no lid so you couldn't put clothes on that either(!) Whilst there were plebty of rails near the shower & toilet the floor was very slippery when wet so we had to drape towels on the floor to walk/move around whilst getting dressed. A plastic/waterproof chair should be provided in future so you have somewhere to drape your clothes to dress after the shower & somewhere to sit whilst doing so ( especially if elderly & still capable of dressing yourself.

The room was lovely in itself. Bed comfortable etc. Restaurant food was very nice and the waitress second to none & very friendly.
