Langley Estate is not what you would call a true B&B. Breakfast is only available (at an additional cost) if there are 4 or more of you staying and you give them 48 hours notice. With Bendigo so near this wasn't a problem for us as each day we easily found delightful places for breakfast.

The location of Langley Estate was pretty good as it was in the main road into Bendigo (4kms). The accommodation was amazing! Beautiful building and large, comfortable bedrooms and excellent bathroom facilities.

The room could have benifited from double glazing on the windows but noise not too load on the main road outside. Tv could have been bigger but ok. These matters were minor and shouldn't take away from the overall presentation

Magnificant very large room with King bed. Very high ceilings. And well apponted with good off street parking. Addirional lounge/reception rooms to freely use. The owner was very friendly and helpfull and made us feel right at home

Location is a few minutes drive from Bendigo CBD. The owner was very friendly and showed us around. Loved the house furnished in antiques, and a sitting room where you could pour yourself a port.

The property is a beautiful Victorian house (mansion) that is furnished in its original grand style and maintained beautifully. The owners live on site and are excellent hosts. They made us feel like house guests rather than customers and invited us to share the beautifully appointed living rooms and lounges. There was a classical music concert going on when we arrived, which was followed by a Champagne reception. We were invited to join the reception at no additional cost. Certainly not your average B&B or Motel.

There was nothing I didn't like.

If you like historical ambience, then the Langley Estate is for you. Absolutely fabulous. Most hotels are incredibly bland, not this one. Very colourful.

Would be great if the property could develop an enclosed swimming pool & spa on the property grounds if heritage requirements permit

Whilst we did have our own private bathroom we had people playing games next to our bedroom and also our private bathroom was a thoroughfare which did not worry us too much but probably not for those after privacy

A plumbing problem arose but it was quickly rectified.

A grand mansion in the old style oozing with charm and character. Period furniture and ornaments bring the history of this unique property to life. Spacious room and comfortable bed made for a relaxing stay.

The ensuite light was permanently connected to the fan and that meant it was cold when you were in there. It would be great if that could be switched seperately. It’s a 10 minute drive into Bendigo which means you need to use your car each time

A unique property showing how wealthy people would have lived in a grand home in days gone by . We live in a historical home and typically they can be cold in winter. But from the moment you step inside this home is warm ( literally) and inviting. You can utilise the front sitting room anytime of the day or night . And there is a second living room up stairs . Our bedroom was large and well appointed . Simone gave us restaurant recommendations for both nights and we were really happy with those . Great to get a local opinion.

A beautiful property- I only wish I’d had more time to explore. I had the Chapel Room and it was a generous size, nice and warm on a very wintry night, and beautifully decorated. Amazing air vent. I paid separately for the delicious breakfast. Unreservedly recommended.

It is on a main road and on a Saturday night there was a lot of noise from the traffic and although my room was on a side far away I could still hear it and there is not much to be done about it other than be aware you may hear it a bit. It didn’t impact on my sleeping. It’s not walking distance to anything so you will need to drive, not an issue just something to be aware of

Old work ambience and charm. The gardens are lovely and in summer it would be lovely to sit out in the gardens. It is a truly beautiful property.
