They didn't clean the rooms and didn't changed the towels. When I asked to office lady she told me that this service didn't include in my booking.

I like the location and amenities

The room had mould in the bathroom. The dishwasher and fridge didn’t work. There was poop under the bed, cockroach

Air conditioning was poor and did little to cool the room. There was no warm bedding, only a thin throw blanket. Beds were uncomfortable. The iron was broken. Rips in curtains. Having to wash up own cups in the bathroom sink makes me wonder how clean they were from previous guests. I would expect a professional cleaner to deal with a hotel room and not expect guests to clean it. Everything was old and needs a facelift, especially the bathroom and grout. There was no fan in bathroom. The WiFi was continually cutting out or freezing. The door to adjoining room was unlocked and not able to be locked from our side which posed a security risk. Being told that the owners were in the other apartment and not to worry about it did not settle my nerves. I wanted to change the dates a month before travel, as my husband was still going to be away on deployment however the letting agent would not allow this and so I had to go or lose the entire letting fee. The location of the office to collect keys from was not convenient and not easily walkable with baggage. Also having to drop the keys off to their office when leaving was inconvenient. I will be certain to only book direct through the hotel next time as my parents came to stay for one night and they had zero issues with their stay. Their room was nicely presented with working amenities, comfy beds, and no ripped curtains or dirty grout. They also had proper shampoo and conditioner, which we did not.

Where do i start! fridge didn't go we lost all our food, microwave didn't go, washing machine didn't work properly, the house was dusty and there was food scraps in the cupboard. hot water was out for 24 hrs, the spa was also out for 24 hrs, the fire door didn't close properly which was a major safely issue in our second bedroom where our 4 children were staying. the air con was low and didn't go very good, the room above us when they would shower late at night it was extremely loud right above our bedroom. NO PARKING ON SITE had to walk for 10-15 mins most days to park on the street. For the high price it was absolutely terrible! this is an air bnb inside of a hotel that they dont manage. no beach towels and the hotel wouldn't give us any as the booking was through the air bnb not the hotel. kids had a great time running water all through the lobby :P

Honestly the only thing that was enjoyable was the pool- everything else was a nightmare and one of the worst hotel stays we have ever had. Would have been far better if the keys were at the hotel not down the road out of a lock box not even located at the location.

Balcony Door was half broken, no cleaning supplies, no new fresh towels provided at all. minimal facilities, tiny rooms, I understand that it is for 7 people but would be better if rooms were bigger. Mantra legends facilities were ok but nothing spectacular.

It was a good location, buffet breakfast was good, should've got it included in the package. Um, not too sure what else was above expectations, everything was pretty standard, best thing about the room was the price.

WiFi was useless, there were ants in the room, nothing available to clean cups and cutlery in the room. Air-conditioning also didn't work well at all. Based on the website photos and description it was hard to know what the room set up was going to be, if there was going to he a kitchenette or not. The room name it said I booked didn't match any room names ok the website. No face washer

We booked via a letting agency and as such did not deal with reception. The letting agency policy for key pick up was arduous after hours and somewhat unsafe to be honest (selfie pic with credit card and drivers license?) Our joint rooms were fairly run down. The dishwasher wasn’t working and this had not been on the booking. Both fridges were broken. One obviously so. The other we only found our about the next morning. The letting agency did replace within a few hours though. Cleanliness wasn’t amazing. Hairs in bathroom. A few cockroaches. Balcony doors very hard to open. Chipboard in bathrooms bulging. They were very strict about the need for everything to be washed up and put away (despite no dishwasher) but no dishcloth was provided. Needed to use washer from bathroom. Rubbish needed to be removed but no rubbish chute on our floor. Needed to take it to the car park basement. Just not what you expect for the price really.

The location of the hotel was excellent. Central to everything and only 100m from the beach. Pool, spa and gym facilities were excellent. Clean and plenty of chairs for all. Bar made nice cocktails although the order by the pool option wasn’t working. Plenty of lifts.

Key collection bad. Pool cold cupboard drawers broken terrible kitchen. Dirty broken tiles in bathroom. Terrible no exhaust fans. Anything else. We spent all of our expensive room time out of the room.

Fridge in main unit didn't work, baby cockroaches found in unit, sliding door to verandah difficult to open. Older units which could really do with an upgrade. No carpark means extra expenses of $35 for 3 days at nearby public carpark. Due to units being privately owned and rented out means reception staff at Legends are not overly helpful with answering questions.

Great location in Surfers Paradise, very close to beach and Cavill Ave. Price was great. Lovely breakfast offered in Hotel restaurant which is reasonably priced.

Didn't actually deal with hotel .... AFTER booking and paying I get a text to say you have to pick up keys and fill in paperwork with bond at another location... after we did that and arrived at accommodation we then get another message listing that we clean down room and remove rubbish before we leave or that gets taken out of our bond..... we were there for a week and had to request extra towels as we had 2 to last us the whole week and no linen change or make up service ... this is just basically an air bnb but in a hotel without using the hotel niceties such as room service, car park, linen and towel change and cleaning services .... which would have been fine if we were aware of that before we paid and then we wouldn't have booked. The advertisement sells you the hotel and you realize the rest of the stuff later
