Car parking. There should be a designated park for each room but when we returned in the evening from our function (in the rain) we had to park on the street as the car park was full and they don't designate parking here.

Room #5 is located right next to the pool pump. Without fail every single day/night we had to endure the loud sounds of the pump running. The wifi wasn't great. I had to use the hotspot on my phone to log in to my work emails.

The room was spotless. The staff obviously have great work ethics when it comes to cleaning. The location of the motor in was perfect for us too. It is located approximately 10-15 minutes away from everywhere we had to visit during our stay. The aircon worked wonders and managed to keep our room nice and cool during the hot temp days/nights.

The stock picture of the pool made it look bigger than it actually was, which was a bit of a disappointment when I used it after my arrival. But, once I'd adjusted my expectations, it was a lovely relief from two shocking days of heat. The other very minor thing, was a sticky door knob when trying to unlock my room (number 10), so perhaps that needs a little maintenance.

This was a very spur of the moment decision to book somewhere "up the Hill" which was cooler and gave me a break from where I was staying in the Lockyer Valley. I picked the Leichhardt for its POOL(!), good location on Ruthven St, and a modest rate. The motel is a little tired, with the classic "brickwork wall" interior, and non-allocated parking...but inside the room was well-appointed, working AIRCON(!), a big comfy bed, TV, and all the kitchenette mod-cons that good motels have. The new lady manager made me feel welcome and did her best to help me out when my credit card was declined (it was maxxed out to my surprise! My fault, not the motel's) and she enjoyed a chat....once I managed to pay, I let her know that her pool was where I was heading.........ahhhh, and she gave me a late checkout at very short notice! Loved my solo stay there.....

Hot water in shower only got warm. No problem in February of an Australian Summer.

Easy to find location. Easy check in. Clean rooms and comfortable bed. Only stayed one night for business and this hotel provided all I required.

We were so impressed with the Leichhardt Motor In. It was exactly as described. The room was very clean and well equipped. The staff were so welcoming on arrival. It was so close to everything we needed. Excellent value for money.
