driving to the hotel in the evnening is a little......"creepy", but on the other side this gave us a very unfortable expereince, and the moment finally getting there is like winning the game! (about 30mins from the main road)

this hotel is a bit isolated than I thought, kind of hidding in the middle of a mountain, the expereince is so exceptional, and the hotel staff is very nice and kind, the food there is fantastic!

Lots of cobwebs in room. Food was expensive for dinner for what it was. Dirt road entry is not for everyone Spa in room did not have a view of forest as pictured on website but was in enclosed bathroom without view

Beautiful location and cosy cabins. Fire place was lovely and the restaurants ambience was amazing. Free breakfast was lovely.

The only downside was the food, specifically the dinner, not as high quality considering the price point ($30 - $49 for mains). The breakfast was decent quality. Since this place is so remote, it's realistically the only option. If we had a kitchenette, we would have made our own dinner instead. We would 100% go again, but we'd pay the additional money if there was an option for a kitchenette.

Fantastic location and atmosphere. Great walks and opportunity to experience the wildlife. The rooms were clean and warm, a big plus was the massage chair. A key highlight were the pademelons, which gathered at the back every night for feeding.

Needed a bit more stronger lighting in the cabins.

Traditional log cabins met our expectations. Very nice evening meal in the dining room with a log fire. Staff were friendly and helpful. Long drive in on a gravel road but worth the effort.

Very expensive. The rooms are comfortable but basic and don’t justify the per night cost (although I understand that it’s remote). The same with the restaurant - decent, basic food, but $44 for salmon and salad is outrageous.

The most beautiful remote location you could ever dream of. Pristine wilderness and not too far from cradle mountain.

Perhaps the welcoming staff ensuring you are aware of the facilities, i.e. what was available in the upstairs activity room.

Excellent and friendly, welcoming staff. Restaurant food was amazing! Novauelty feeding of wildlife an extra bonus. A beautiful remote place to visit. Included breakfast was fantastic.

The road in to the acconmmodation is about 8km on a gravel road, wouldn't advise driving at night. Very slow going on the road. There is no restaurants or shope nearby. Not all that convenient for accessing cradle Mountain.

Breakfast included. Nice dinner options- must make a reservation Wood cabins reminiscent of a time gone by.

The four mile, gravelled, mountainous access road was a slight shock to the system but we had hired a 4WD car so this passed off OK.

We loved the walks and wildlife and the breakfasts and evening meals were delicious. The staff were very friendly and helpful and watching them providing fruit and vegetable scraps to the pademelons at dusk was a real highlight.
